The Warwick Capper Open Mike thread got me to post this. I have a disagreement with a fella on that Fevola was a better full forward than Capper. No disrespect to Warwick, good full forward kicked 100 goal's. However in that era and given guy's like William's, Healy, Murphy and Mitchell helping supply the ball, Fev would have smashed the 100 goal a season barrier!
Fev had it over Capper in every way on the field except the specky mark highlight. Better body agility and movement, good, long accurate kick. He wouldn't have to stay within 35 metres of goal the Capper usually had to.
Any way, what's you opinion?

fev was a freak wish he still played afl somebody should of took a punt and rookied him this year on minimum dollars if he stuffs up you loose nothing and if he doesnt you win we need more characters in the afl these days

What's the a poll about ... who is the bigger dick brain?

Capper was a gun, no bones about it. He may be an idiot, but boy he was a great forward. Don't just put him down as a great mark or a goal kicker courtesy of those who played upfield. That would be underselling him. The dill should never have gone to the Bears, squandered his talent for some extra coin.

Fevola got more out of his talent, but he could have been so much more as a player. Such a naturally talented forward, but with an attitude that held him back. On talent alone, I'd probably rate him the best lead up FF since Dunstall.

As for who was better, I'd give to Fevola. Capper was no mug, that's for sure, but I think Fev had the better all-round ability and was a far far superior kick of the footy than Capper.

The Wiz for me. Based purely on whose best I think was better, had he not gone to the Bears, I think their overall output would be a lot closer. Both were two of my favourite players of all time to watch. Not enough big forward personalities anymore, thanks Demetriou ya f*** hole.
