Apart from the game where he got injured against them, GAJ has absolutely dominated Sydney his whole career! Last time GC played Sydney at Metricon (2012) GAJ scored a lazy 171 SC from 42 possies and 9 tackles. And that was only a few weeks before the finals where Sydney as you know won the Flag.

Yeah I do remember his record against Sydney now Gingy that you have put it here.

Gazza has been a bit average by his standards though the last couple of weeks though so maybe he might go so so again this week?

I really think Libba is worth taking a punt on with the VC but have no idea who to give the big C to out of Ablett and Pendles?

I've been arguing that C/VCing based on perceived weak team opposition is a very simplistic and flawed way to go about it for this whole thread. *shakes head* Melbourne have some pretty good taggers. Collingwood should win easily, but it will be a team effort where the points will be spread around and 130-140 will be a match high SC score.

30 points is easy enough. Melb might be a bit flat after last week...or might have got a lot of confidence out of their performance. Either way, I can't see Pendles dominating. Melbourne's midfield is pretty strong this year.

Think I might take a punt with my VC this week and go with Murphy. Has an awesome record against Geelong and unless he pumps out a 150+ will leave the C on GAJ.

I remember a bunch of people putting the VC/C on Watson against GWS last year. He ended up with 21 possies and 66 SC points. A bloke I was versing in one of my leagues had him as Capt while I had GAJ. Good times.

Ah, cheers. So for it to work with Acres I'd have to have someone from Haw, WCE, Gee or Carl to be my VC with Acres as my C?

I suppose I could wait and see if Lloyd is named, or if Morris got dropped fro Richmond? I think they're my only chance of "non-players" besides Archie Smith who is still too early.
