Carey mentioned after he retired from the AFC he tried cocaine with a few friends.

My question is was Carey still in Adelaide immediately after his retirement ?

I am not going to pose the question I really want to ask !!!!!

Friends = ???????

Hmmmmm

Same thing would have come to most Crows supporters when he said that. Who knows where it was? Also, I'm sure there's an ex-Crows player out there that has tried or is taking drugs, it wouldn't be a stretch.

in HINDSIGHT was recruiting CAREY a good or bad move ?

I do remember the benefits at the time our club imo had greater media exposure as a result of him being on our list.

Some infamous games he played that I can always recall very vividly was the in the Night GF against the Pies and the first game against the Roos !

Both were very much hyped up matches.

I would like to see Wayne on a couple of shows like "Big Brother" or "The Moment of Truth".

As bad as you may think those shows are (yes they are) it would rate though the roof.

I mean the ratings would hit the ceiling !

Especially if he were to appear in the immediate future.

Hmmmm stay tuned, do I know something?

No doubt Mr Carey held some things back during the interview and twisted some things to sound more positive from his perspective than cold have been the case. I think that is fair enough though with pending court cases and not wanting to drag people through unnecessary heartache again.

What I didn't like though was when he described some incidents and said he had had too much to drink to remember anything - funnily enough though he definitely knew he had done this or he definitely knew he hadn't done that. It's one or the other, he either can't remember or he can.

What I took away from the interview was that he seemed to be very truthful when talking about his family/personal history, substance/alcohol abuse etc. However, when it came to his versions of various events, it seemed a lot like he was hiding facts/twisting truths and tried way too hard to justify his own actions. I'm sure he would've loved this interview to be the beginning of a clean slate for him, but he really messed up I think. He didn't come across as very sincere at all.

There goes another career down the toilet...
