the last time we had a gun forward as our forward coach, we flicked him for providing a correct opinion!

Get Carey on the payroll. He's a ******** commentator, but he WROTE half of the tricks of the trade so he could provide us with great knowledge. We've got some good tall forwards, who havent' had a propper forward coach for years!

Why?

Short-sightedness personal dislike of Carey the person.
Hard to think that he'd bring peace and unity to the players. Sure, he can teach them to be dirty players on the field, which may help, but I'm worried about the off-field "lessons" he might bring to the club!

I agree but he didnt seem to do much for carlton did he? Both their key forwards ended up in defence.
