With our quiet trade week coming up, thought I'd do something that could be fun...
Like all the computer games now they have a club manager mode... If you fictionally had full control of the Carlton Football Club...
How would you run the following... (remember all figures are a guestimate)...
If you wish to participate please keep it in reality, this isn't AFL Evolution on the PS4
Remember It's what you would do not what Carlton or what you think Carlton are going to do...
It's meant as a bit of fun and head scratching...

You have available $1,050,000, you can spend it anyway you see fit, on any staff or positions under the soft cap...
Rules are...
Trades & Free Agency Period...
You have available $1,050,000 available salary cap and 4 list spots (Owies added already)... After we resigning TDK ($400,000pa) and McKay ($800,000pa)...
Rules are...
You have what's left of your available $1,800,000 salary cap and 4 list spots after trade week...
You also have available picks 10, 28, 37 (Jones), 62 & 64, unless you have traded any of them, then you have the picks left after your trade week...

Rules are...
- You can sack and add who you see fit, their values are below...
- You must include a minimum of 1 assistant coach to replace O'Keefe and please cost your decisions...
- You must also chose who you want the VFL coach to be, bring someone new in or use what we got...
- Assistance coaches are worth $250,000,
Experienced assistance coaches & Development coaches are worth $350,000,
Senior Assistant coaches are worth $450,000,
Senior coach are worth $650,000, - Head of Football are worth $500,000
- List Manager is worth $500,000
Recruiters are worth $200,000 - Psychologists are worth $200,000
- Head fitness coach is worth $500,000
Assistant fitness coach is worth $200,000
Trades & Free Agency Period...
You have available $1,050,000 available salary cap and 4 list spots (Owies added already)... After we resigning TDK ($400,000pa) and McKay ($800,000pa)...

- You have to make a decision on E.Curnow $250,000, Setterfield $300,000 and Fogarty $200,000...
If you decide to delist their wages go onto the $1,050,000 available salary cap... - You can trade out contracted players if you do you must provide your guess on their wage... Must be realistic...
- You must state the trade scenario and how much the players going in and out are on salary wise...
- You must make sure you stay within the available $1,800,000 available salary cap and 4 list spots...
You will also need to factor in you must take a minimum of 2x draft picks because Owies is an upgrade,
You must also factor in each draft pick needs to be included under the $1,800,000 available salary cap
Top 5 Draft pick is worth $200,000
First Round Draft pick is worth $150,000
All other draft picks are worth $100,000
You have what's left of your available $1,800,000 salary cap and 4 list spots after trade week...
You also have available picks 10, 28, 37 (Jones), 62 & 64, unless you have traded any of them, then you have the picks left after your trade week...
Rules are...
- You must make sure you stay within the available $1,800,000 available salary cap and 4 list spots...
- You must stay within the minimum 36 senior list and maximum 6 rookies and 2 Cat B rookies
- You must take a minimum of 2x draft picks because Owies is an automatic upgrade,
Top 5 Draft pick is worth $200,000
First Round Draft pick is worth $150,000
All other draft picks are worth $100,000 - You can move players to the rookie list to balance your list... Must be realistic...
- FA & DFA you must how much the players coming in is on on salary wise, they must fit under your salary cap and list numbers
