I remember driving into work and hearing the news report. When they mentioned it was head injury I thought (hoped) maybe its like a severe concussion and he misses two rather than 1 week. So very very wrong.

Still drive through that intersection in Clifton Hill with regret.

He would have been a ripper and was just starting to blossom.

I like your outlook (you being crap aside), would like some more confidence myself.

I’ll throw an example at you of who I think does what you say well: Jason Dunstall.

Knows as much about footy as anyone, from playing to administrating to media. He talks to his audience, not above them. And he freely admits how big his ego actually is.

Riewoldt is going down the King/Brereton route IMO, not a fan. Very smug.

Yes based on his output this year Devon Smith would have been very nice...we were right in it though and he prob just chose Essendon since they were in finals contention. Not much SOS could do there.

Good on Ahern but i don't think any of us were that interested in him given his ACL injury...can't win em all anyway we won over Marchbank, Kennedy and Pickett.

Yep, cannot get everyone. Smith was one I wanted but Essendon offered him a little more of what he wanted and once he chose got to move on.

Darcy was answering a question nobody asked i.e. should someone playing in a losing side win the Brownlow? Carey actually provided a (perfectly valid) argument for why Cripps wouldn't win. So basically, Darcy is a twit and Carey's comments were fair but hopefully wrong.

The umps usually give 3 votes to the winning team, I think Crippa will score a heap of 2s & 1s unfortunately..imo Crippa deserves to win . The seagulls from horforn doesn't even get his jumper dirty and his hair is still in place after the game..

Whenever Sticks or Bradley talk about him they say he was the best of the three.

I had the pleasure of meeting him numerous times when at the family holiday house in Glenelg. Absolutely fit as a mallee bull. Was just cooling down from his run on the water front when I’d see him. Would love it when we talked Carlton and was brilliant to my daughters. Absolute tragedy what happened to Mots. Legend of a bloke.

I know we love, praise, look up to (who doesn't) and worship the one they call Cripps, but Mitchell would and most likely will be a deserving charlie winner.

Guy is having an amazing season.
