That's his voice... it's reasonably low and it has something of a vocal fry to it, so it gets a bit gravelly when he shouts.

Comments like these perpetuate the concept that he's mentally and physically weak, except if you actually paid attention to his comments and attitude you can see he's put himself in charge of morale while mentoring the youngsters. I thought it was the most insightful 2 minutes about Murphy's captaincy that I've ever seen.

Drawing a bit of a long bow there. Just sounded like he was putting on a voice for the mic. Hardly a broad commentary on his leadership and mental/physical strength. But carry on defending him against insults that, in this instance, mostly weren't even there.
