More lazy BS "journalism" to illicit a response. No research or effort to actually check facts. They just turn up, pick a subject and give an uneducated opinion. It really is pathetic. I've given up watching most football programs. It's just a waste of time

As soon as I heard Twomey mention Fisher playing at HB, it was then I knew not to take any of them seriously. They know bugger all, and are there just to get paid.

Also said Casboult would have no value. Bull****! Whether or not he's getting a game, a player with a role such as his will always maintain some value. Probably a third or fourth round pick though. And a team such as Gold Coast could do with him for a year or two. I'd happily take whatever trade we can. Need to pluck gems from the third and fourth rounds more often anyway.

Casboult has no currency. A fourth round pick is no currency and won't get a third round pick.

Twomey's another Essendon fanboy. He's good with the junior talent. But like a lot of reporters, they don't actually see all that many of the AFL games each round. Much of what passes as 'opinions' comes from their media buddies and their team support.

I don't think all are a waste of time...get the full range with some being absolute rubbish like anything Lloyd or cornes says but often they break rumours/stories with truth to it.

No real mention of injuries, that effected our season.

They said they were players under the most pressure, which is true, they'll struggle to keep their spots. They're stop gaps on our list, but their careers are their own.

No mention of injuries is true, but they were more assessing individual players more than anything. Hard not to give our season 1 out of 10, we won two games.

I'll give you that it's lazy and doesn't really add value, but nothing they said is as bad as people are carrying on about. I agree with Lloyd, lots of green shoots.

No issue with how they rated our season, as it is a results industry, as in the now.
