If I had hair, I'd want hair like Doc's.

No-nonsense yet still stylish. It's magnificent!

I hope he took out the patent on hairspray-reinforced granite...
I love Doc's hair. He seriously looks like a relic from the 1940s or something, all clean cut and hair perfectly in place. Total Peter Dean no nonsense vibes too.

You heard it here first...EDIT: second

Has Peter Dean drunk from the fountain of youth and changed the 3 on the back of his jumper to a 1? Or is it just me?

On top of the physical similarities (and no nonsense haircuts), it's the playing styles which strikes me.

Both are just super dependable down back. Neither take a backwards step. Both like(d) to take the game on and to dash from defense, with the odd goal thrown in for good measure. Even Doc's running style reminds me of Dean....

You always put your posts across eloquently and respectfully, and I won't criticise your point of view but, as Judd said, we are in a results based business.
I think we can all agree that a Premiership is the ultimate result.
We need to "win" lots of games, consistently to "win" a Premiership.
That bloody "win" word keeps popping up.
Now obviously this is not going to happen in the near term, but imo it is the most important factor in becoming a successful club again.
Everything flows from winning; sponorship, membership, players wanting to come to us, opposition fans hating us again rather than ridiculing us etc, etc
We have had a wonderful increase in membership the past 2 seasons, but if we don't start winning some games relatively soon, this could all come undone.

Not saying wins aren't important itchy, just not the main priority at this point in time for me. Right now I want things building, competitiveness, consistency in individuals as well as the team.

I agree there will come a time when games like that against GC will be important/crucial especially when we are on the verge of finals, we all remember too well when we lost to GC and missed the finals. Then again when we are targeting top 4, then top 2.

As we progress, our talent identification/drafting needs to remain strong, as we have seen in the likes of Sydney and WC for 2 decades

Flicked on to AFL360 tonight where Slobbo mentioned Caro stated on radio that Bolts wouldn't be coach next year.
Being curious of why and where her opinion was coming from i went to Sportsday3aw podcast to check it out.
4min30- 8min30 minutes was C.Wilson D.Russell and T.Morris all having a crack at the Club Bolts Silvagni Lloyd JackSos and the Pres
Just for the record i couldn't give a **** what they think at all, but thought some of us out there might want to have a listen to the crap anyway👍

Can anyone access the article in the herald sun about Pagan saying JSOS should leave?

Not me. HUN have done some voodoo to prevent outline working.

The AFL Media would consider it a wasted year unless they could notch a sacked coach on their belt.

Tom Morris article not far from the truth. I have extremely good mail that it’s spot on actually. We’re “over coached”.

Heard similar things last year

I found the article on Bolton mildly depressing, because it's consistent with my worst suspicions - that Bolton's management-speak and penchant for cliches and analogies just confuse the hell out of the players.
