Despite his endurance testing, I think he'll fade out of games too readily until he tidies a few things up, maybe even get injured on the regular. Promising enough though, but there was plenty of talent around that spot and we can't afford another player who isn't on the park enough to develop.

Genuine question. You seem to be framing Philp as a potential bust and mention the talent around his pick no. After Philp (2 games) the order was Thomson Dow (2 games), Deven Robertson (one game - can find the ball but one paced?), Dylan Williams (YTP), Harry Schoenberg (shows a bit - 11 games), Jackson Mead (YTP), Will Gould (YTP), Jeremy Sharp (2 games), Josh Worrell (YTP) and Finn Maginess (one game). Next up was Harrison Jones who looks alright but not the type we were looking for. Wouldn't it best to describe the talent around that spot the same way that you would describe Sam - as speculative at this stage and still trying to find their way in the system?

Well down at qtr time 6.6 to 2.1 but Box Hill kicking with a 2-3 goal breeze.
McGovern has 1 and moving well. Ramsay kicked a lovely snap to open the game but all Box Hill since.
Cooper Stephens can play. Durdin looks like a smart footballer as well.
