Carlton rookie player- Michael Davis

I am wondering how Michael Davis is progressing with carlton so far. I was shocked when Essendon delisted him as he dominated many games with well over 30 possessions in the Vfl last season. Davis is only in his second year in the AFL system and was unfairly delisted. Carlton have picked up a real bonus this year in him, don't be surprised to see him promoted at some stage this year if fit. Any further updated info on his progress would be appreciated.

Davis finally got a run at the Gabba on Friday night but didn't get enough minutes to make a fair judgement. He ran around after the ball a bit but when he did get it, he seemed to be a good judge of distance. Is a fair way of senior level still IMO.

With carlton struggling majorly i am interested in the progression of Michael Davis this year in the vfl. I have seen his name quite often in the best, is he any chance of getting a run this year in the carlton ones.

We are loathe to promote rookies despite our long term injuries and we can only put it down to salary cap restrictions as the players have to be paid more for senior appearances. We took until last week to promote a rookie so I don't think we will be promoting any more. By all accounts a few are impressed enough to think we should give him a run before the year is out.

I think it might have been Justin Davies name you have been seeing in the best.
Mick got away to good start to the year, but recently he's gone missing. I thought he would be the first rookie (if any) to be promoted about 6-8 weeks ago. Now i think it would be a toss up between Ezra Bray and Mick to be the last to be promoted.
His body is too small, gets knocked off the ball to easy, and doesnt seem to find enough of the ball lately.
