We really should be up for 40 points with the match over at quarter time but alas we are only up by 20 and its very much game on. We have been ok, just need to watch the Essendon rebound as they are very quick with players like Jetta and Lovett. Need someone like Robbo to lay some hard tackles to slow them down a bit I reckon. Robbo has been great, hard at it, worried a few Essendon players out of it like Lucas on the foward 50.
Would like to see us put Essendon away in this quarter which he have the ability to do.

Yep, we;ve been wasteful in front of goal with Fevola just having a bad night. But Gibbs, Judd and Hadley are looking great.
Russell doesn't look too bad in defence - Murph has caught Stevens disease in going for goal rather than looking for leads...

Kick it to Fev when he is one on one with Daniher boys, he will beat him most times. Fevola kicks the goal but Essendon get a quick reply with a quick clearance.

Ahh Essendon had 2 players free 50m out from goal, not good enough manning up. There quick players are really hurting us. Maybe put Jeffery on a HB flank to chase down their quicker fowards.

Gee we love useless over possessing of the ball. So frustrating. Just letting the bombers back into it. Go straight down the guts like the Bombers are...ffs.
We're not in control of this match. A few skill errors creeping in, Bummers exploiting them pretty well.

There just too fast, spuds like Lovett are having shots on goal. We need to go man on man with them or get faster players on them.

I am at the game guys, and this is pathetic by us. We seem to have believed our own publicity again. Our disposals is shocking and we think we are a top side the way we are playing. Essendon are killing us allover the park, just by working hard and chasing us down. I am very disappointed in this effort and this just shows we have a long way to go before we can start blowing our trumpets. That's why all week I have been saying not to get carried away.
Betts will be up there in B&F votes so far...
