they have rivers and nicholson out but we have campo and prob kouta out so it might b a close game

i recon it will be up to fev and big red to fire and if so then i recon they can win

players like brad green and Cameron bruce always seem to hurt us when we play the dees ..i'm hoping for a blues win but i'm not overly confident

it was a great game and glad we just hung on

alot of positives from big red, fev, chambers and i thought waite was great in the first quarter

only downside of the game would be fevs reporting. It looked like a typical hip and shoulder but with the new tribunal rules he may get a week which will hurt our chances next week against the bulldogs

it was a very good win against quality opposition..and to be challenged like that in the last quarter and respond with goals was very satisfying to see.
a few years ago they would have capitulated in that last quarter .
shows denis has toughened them up a lot and their commitment is there for all to see .

Lance Whitnall was really impressive today. Seemed to be all over the ground, and along with Fev they really dominated.

Good win. I was a little disspointed with our last quarter but Melbourne are no easy-beats. But how good was Lance and Fev. 25 marks and 8 goals between them!

Great win because our game plan is amazing compared to how we were playing eeven last year. Can Pagan please tell the players to stop lairising with the ball and keep it simple and kick it long. Which when we did were thrashing the demons who couldn't convert with Neitz flaccid in attack again.
Is Neitz Livingston's bitch or is he nearly finished? I suspect the latter.

Sorry to intrude but being a Doggies supporter starved for success I'm really looking forward to playing the Blues in a semi final of the Wiz Cup.

Very impressed with the run you were able to generate against the Dees and some of the guys have made rapid improvement in the last couple of seasons.

On the Doggies board we are struggling to work out who we should match-up on the likes of Whitnall and Fevola. Harris should get one of the guys with perhaps either Rawlings or Hargrave on the other.

Well done today and it should be a good game next week.

Not week after week but he did well in a preseason game last year in Shepparton against Fevola and probably has the pace to go with him.
Fevola is stronger but Hargrave is a little taller so he should match-up OK against him.
Last year Morgan did well against Fevola but he won;t be available for this encounter.

Harris and Whitnall could be a great match-up.
