Richard Hadley is a dud?

That's the equivalent of calling Ramanauskas a dud when circumstances beyond our control has prevented us getting the best of out Hadley this year

He had 18 touches and kicked a goal against Essendon.

Hadley is a better footballer than Welsh and a better midfielder and kick than Stanton, but he just can't get on the park enough to show it.

Hadley didn't have a full pre-season, but was brilliant against Collingwood with his ball winning(4 first disposals), skill, leadership, tackling and blocking for Judd.

I wouldn't swap Hadley for McVeigh if all things were equal and he hadn't had two knees injuries and a groin complaint.

Thankfully Carlton has taken a conservative approach with his injury and not rushed him back into the side so he can get fit for next year.

Hadley didn't have a full pre-season, but was average against Collingwood with his ball winning(4 first disposals), skill, leadership, tackling and blocking for Judd.

I wouldn't swap Hadley for McVeigh if all things were equal (but i know very little about football) and he hadn't had two knees injuries and a groin complaint.

Thankfully Carlton has taken a conservative approach with his injury and not rushed him back into the side so he can get fit for next year.

Edited for accuracy

As long as you are happy with him, that's all that matters.

Congratulations, your post is the new stand out contender for most biased, least logical and overall worst post of the year.

Heh, you must not have seen many of TheGeneral's posts if you are calling that the most biased post of the year. Ever time he posts on the subject of Carlton hilarity ensues.

look; he almost looks a little like Daniel Kerr :)

Sure. But the criteria for starting is beating us at least once... ;) Now what this year proves is that since we beat you and you beat Pies and Pies beat the Cats, we're clearly the 2nd best team in the comp.

We could go on with this. I think it's pretty obvious why players get linked with Carlton, same reason they get linked with Collingwood and us. No-one wants to read about players going for Tuggeranong to Murwillumbah, or Port to Freo. Sell more papers.
Basic formula: Contract negotiation + player agent = trade/move rumour

1.That's the equivalent of calling Ramanauskas a dud when circumstances beyond our control has prevented us getting the best of out Hadley this year

2. He had 18 touches and kicked a goal against Essendon.

1. After his battle's with cancer Rama was not the same player and if he wasn't afflicted with cancer at all it is doubtless you would be.

2. Dyson had 25 possessions and kicked a goal once... he's a dud

3. In the last 3 years Welsh and Stanton have been far better than Hadley and they will be into the future, hadley will only be an average player at best because of his injuries.

4. That's because you lack intelligence. You wouldn't swap carrazzo for hird either, in fact Carlton should be very glad that you aren't in control of their trading.

5. He will never be what he could have been.

Ricky Olerenshaw looked alright at his 2nd club. It wasn't until his 73rd injury & the Kangaroos that we all just accepted it was over. Sometimes, the proverbial just happens. Tigers fans are still waiting for Mark Coughlan... heartbreaking but true
