I'm not as upset with the loss because we were up against a team coached by the football intellect powerhouse that is Mike Vrabel. **** the guy for catching a TD in a SB win against us, but can't argue with him as a coach. We would've lost 27-20 had they been coached by anyone else. It reminded me of seeing a YT video of a lion picking up a cub panther by the throat, which did not lead to a good outcome for the cub...
 
Wasn't great but 2nd biggest comeback in Panthers history. Took a bit more out of this win than the Atlanta one coz at least the dline got some pressure today and some sacks. Really good against the run too. Thought Scourton had a very good game in particular even though he didn't get a sack.

RIco was unbelievable. 200 yards on the ground. Passing game was meh but nice to see Jimmy Horn make some plays in his debut.

All the rookies had a good day, McMillan, Horn, Evans, Ettienne and Scourton.

Yeah, I think its a case of coaches over thinking things way too much, preferring guys with bigger measurables (size and reach etc) rather than just going off who is the better player.
 
Panfffffers 3-0 at home. :eyes: Nice to have a home field advantage for the first time in years.

Rico Dowdle broke the franchise record for most scrimmage yards in a game with 239, breaking CMC's previous record of 237.

Evero letting Mike Jackson get picked on the entire game by Prescott and Pickens drove me mad, you paid Horn big money, let him travel ffs.

Our run defense is good??? Two weeks in a row we have totally shut a team down. Bobby Brown in particular made some great plays.
 
Other thing ive noticed with the run defense getting better, Wallace took the green dot off Roseboom two weeks ago, Roseboom looks like a way better player without the responsibility of getting everyone lined up and just playing free.
 
Jaycee Horn, what a beast. Derrick Brown, unbelievable.

Nice to get some sacks! 6 for the game when we only had 5 for the year before this week. Happy for Nic Scourton in particular, hes really showing some things.

Panffers with a winning record? What is this sorcery??

I actually really enjoyed the game. Defense has been so bad for so long now that it was fun and a novelty to see it dominate like that.

Think we went pretty vanilla on offense knowing the Jets couldn't do shit.

Bills game next week got to be the biggest game at the Bank for at least 5 years. Playing with house money, no one expects us to win, I much prefer that than being favs like today.

Yeah Packers dont count as a good team :D

It was a very ugly boring game, but that was exactly what we needed to make it given all the injuries to the oline, we only had 1 of our usual starters out there for 95% of the game. Canales and Evero get game balls, that win was all coaching today.
