carroll played amazingly well today. i would think that it's probably his best game ever.

with glass getting over his injury and looking to get back in our 22 does anybody think that there is room for trent?

He did play well today..but it was scripted for him.

Two non Vic top sides playing = Gieschen instructing umpires to "let it go", and they did.

Carroll was put onto a HFF not a KPP, that suited him far better.

In reality, what would he have looked like today if A Lynch had been his man?

Agreed. I think he plays much better at home than away. He doesn't travel well for some reason. He'll keep his spot until Glass shows he deserves it more.

i reckon it'll take glass just a couple of WAFL matches to prove he belongs back in the side

Awesome game from him, how many 1 on 3 plays did he neutralise? Hes not a KPP, Glass will come back to that eventually but if he can keep this form he may be able to win one of those HBF positions.

Trent Carroll gets to play on the best forward in the opposition team. Thats a tough call. How would Hunter or Embley do in these challenges.?However, how would Carroll rate on the third tall. Dont slam him for the job he is assigned by the coaching staff. But project forward: can he offer somthing as a back pocket of HBF. He cant be worse than Green. By the way I cant wait till Glass is fully functional.

To be honest I didn't notice Carroll too much yesterday - I know he spent a bit of time on the bench because his direct opponent, Bradshaw didn't even play.

Carroll will have a big task next week if he plays on Fevola or Morrell.

Good on yer!

Well done Trent.
I have always cringed at the bagging this guy has got on this forum. Personally, I think it is mean-minded so all the best to the guy - he was magnificent today. He has been good in many games and will continue to be good for us if he is matched up on the 2nd or 3rd forward option of our opposing team.
Go Trent!

grr

expect green to be back soon, 28 possesions, and he is our usual matchup for medhurst 2 weeks from now.

our best defence....
