yeah.. was about to say, not only animated, but one of the best shows (comedy/sitcoms) to ever come out from the states..

The Simpsons will be remembered as one of the greatest TV shows of all time, let alone cartoons when it finally stops.... however I will guarantee re-runs will still be on in 20 years time.

The Simpsons is a big part of my life. I collect things from it. I've met people on the show. I've been to the animation studio where they make it. I now maintain the official internet FAQ for it.

Yet, I can't watch it now. I think it's terrible. The last two seasons have been just really bizarre and weird and hardly funny at all. I suppose after 10 years you start to run out of ideas.

Don't get me wrong though - you can put on any rerun from before that, and I have to drop everything to watch it. Appointment television.

As Stealth said, I too have been bored with the last couple of series of the Simpsons.

We are all different & have individual tastes, thank goodness or it would be a boring bloody world.

The "Cripple Fight" was more entertaining than anything ever seen in the WWF!!!

The Simpsons is by far the best. There is so much to the Simpsons you can watch the same episode two or three times and still get a new joke out of it. I think that is true for most quality comedies.

South Park has it's moments, Duckman was great...really out there!

But I still love Bugs, Daffy and Co.

'The Simpsons' is the best by far.

All though, one other cartoon cracked me us as much as 'The Simpsons' do, and that is 'Family Guy.'
Stewie is a legend! And, if the show keeps pumping out series, i have no doubt he will be as highly regarded as Homer.

The Simpsons is by far the best TV programme of any kind. It's humour is on so many levels. I've been watching it since I was 10 and as I've got older I've watched the same episodes and laughed at them for different reasons. To fully appreciate the depth in the Simpsons I'd recommend

As for South Park? Dodgy animation and toilet humour? Hilarious.

Family Guy rocks and is much better than Futurama. Beavis and Butthead was good apart from the music which was pants!
