Yeah this is great. Set the VCR for this one. I have heard its only gunna be 6 songs but considering its taken them 18 months to get the thing on we shouldnt complain. They are playing some shows in Sydney but no melbourne gigs at the moment. It would be great to see them here over the summer.
Saw the Rifles about a year back. The were supporting the Dictators along with the Casanovas, which featured BF's own Rusty Brookes on bass at the time.
I'd never taken much notice of them until then but I was impressed that nite.

The last time I saw them was when they played with the Cosmic Psychos on a double bill some 10 years ago. Was a tremendous night.

Their last ever show was in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel. They rocked as per usual - they were simply a terrific band.

More of a Lime Spiders fan myself, but I did like the Rifles. 80's Oz rock is some of the best music ever made.

I saw what was billed as the Lime Spiders last year. Mick Blood with some hired session musos - it wasn't pretty. Great band in their heyday though.
