When I lived in Scotland it was an article of faith among my Sellik supporting mates that every poor decision that went agianst the Bhoys, especially in Old Firm games, was down to DOB mason Hun refs conspiring to keep them down.

I always dimmissed this as the rantings of your typical Weegie drunkard.

Yet now Hugh Dallas, big boss ref, has been forced to resign after sending sectarian emails.

They are, but this is the least of the problems in Scottish football. Sellick get a pretty good run of it themselves.

The whole problem there is that the Big Two are so institutionalised that any problem at all that emerges gets seen through the perspective of how it affects one or the other of these two.
