This is not a good result of us at home as we needed the win. I guess full credit to Galatasaray for holding us to a draw, but here's hoping we can break the shackles this weekend in the Premier League and continue our good run of form.

I think many of us underestimate Galatasaray (after all, most of us predicted a win for Liverpool). It wasn't that long ago that they beat Arsenal to win the UEFA Cup.

Anyway, it was disappointing that United could only draw 1-1 with Nantes as it seems that we dominated the game. However, thoughts of the fury (and cries of "It's a pro-United conspiracy from the refs!") from those ABUs with RVN's equalising goal coming from a penalty in the 4th minute of time added on is enough to put a sly grin on my face.

Yeah, all I read was ManUre equalise with a penalty in injury time...what a surprise!

Apparently Liverpool wasted countless opportunities - the only positive is the other game was a draw as well - but really we had to win last night, it's going to be very tough from here.

I think the return leg next week will probably decide our fate, a bit disappointing not to grab the 3 points though.
