just a question:
a lot of people get the chance to go into the club rooms after a match, I was just wondering is it only relatives of the players or can others go in? I'm busting to go in there and meet the guys-any suggestions or answers?
thanks.

Yeah, I think friends and relatives only otherwise it would be a free-for-all.

Re: question

I haven't been down for years, but when I did, Dad and I could get in, without being friends or relos of the players. If it's still open, you have to get down there before the siren because it gets packed, and they shut you out. When I was younger they'd choose some kids to walk around amongst the players, maybe that's changed these days...
Also, changed title of thread for convenience.

Yeah same thing happened to me. That was during the 1997 season though, going by the players I remember meeting.

Also you could try meeting Paul Wheatley's sister...

I got into the changerooms 'before' and 'after' the game against Fremantle in Subiaco. It was fan bloody tastic! It was Mcleans debut game and I got him to sign my jumper just in case he became a brownlow medalist! Im not family or friend of any of the players tho. If you just ring the club early in advance you should be right.

Met her, not worth the trouble! ;)

I went down back in the 1996 days, got my footy signed by the great man... Alistair Clarkson! Enjoyed it then and thought that it would be some of my final chances to see us in the red and blue. Thank goodness that didn't happen!

Yeah imagine if we'd merged. Yuk!:thumbsd: I'd be nothing more than a disinterested observer of the game I love.

Also, what the deal with Wheatley's sis......

She stalked me and highroller for about 2 years. . . nice girl though, just a bit, yaknow.

Don't know what Vandal's problem is though. lol.

You can go to the changerooms if you buy a chairmans club membership, they're about 800 bucks or so.
