Surely this is one instance where he could have been risked in defence at AFL level. Still I guess a VFL appearance is better than none at all. Can only hope he lasts out the game and lives to fight another day. Several players seem to be rather spineless in terms of longevity and Moore sits almost atop that list behind Elliott, Wells and Fasolo.

Is Fasolo contracted next year? If not we should look to unload him and replace him with someone with limbs and a torso that are in decent working order. Time to clear out the rehab room and cut back our medical expenses.

Fasolo is not contracted next year...….he is UFA.

He is always at 100% effort in the seniors. That's his most outstanding trait.

Greenwood doesn't need to come in to play as a small chf when Crocker already plays that role.

Somebody has to replace Mihocek who will almost certainly move to defence. Greenwood as good a candidate as anybody. Either way hes versatile..theres a spot for him in the 22 given the state of our injuries.

Hate to be on the Selection panel this week,
The cupboard is bare as to a replacement for Dunn,Only one player to me would be Mclarty.
But then i think of the pace of the bombers smalls and think we need Sam Murray back.
And then i think if we bring in Varcoe is it to early will another injury occur.
Or do we send Mihocek back to defense and now i wonder about our forward line as the Bombers will double team Mason.

Cox is playing higher up the ground where its much harder to double team. WHE / Stepho have been the deep forwards.

I think Mihocek goes back this week and we play smaller up front, although Degoey isn't that much smaller than Mihocek. Sier holding his own is a plus and enables Degoey to cover forward this week if needed. I think all the small/medium forwards will spend time thought the middle this week.

Might be a game were Sidey bobs up and kicks 3 or 4.

A world where Dunn Reid Goldsack and Moore are unavailable.

Not sure I want to risk Moore without a VFL game given his injury history

Mihocek moves into the role he was recruited for, I was happy they gave him a chance and this week is the week to step up.

Do they skin them? Not use them at all? I suppose the players consume those sugary energy drinks instead of a healthy piece of fruit. I guess it's harder to squirt a quartered orange than a drink in a plastic bottle over a new player in a winner's circle. Some changes to the game are not necessarily for the better.

Used to love the half time oranges... not only for the refreshing sugar hit but your hands were nice and sticky for the third quarter...

Better to cut them there and then.
Eat them, drink water with fresh lemon squeezed into it.

He went to play for Balwyn Tigers at the start of the year. Then he left abruptly after the club appointed his former Gold Coast coach Rocket Eade.

Yes took over from Marty Pask who is an AFL player agent eg Brian Lake, Caleb Daniel, Dyson Heppel etc.

Can't help but feel we're due for a loss. I don't think Dunn will be the absolute reason as to why we lose, either.

Send Mihocek back. I'd be delighted if their defenders decided to peel off whe, Stephenson or Degoey in order to double team Mason.
