Willing to call it lads and ladies, finals are cooked. We will finish 9th just outside, which at the start of the year I would of taken, finals was going to be a bonus this year. But that doesn't mean I want us to roll over.

Changes? Hall kicked a great goal, was missing everywhere else, but he isn't the only one. Day has been average the past few weeks.

Apart from Hall no other changes
However need to make changes in player roles
eg Dixon to play in the ruck & Risch permanent forward
Hall needs to work on his game in the 2's
Lonergan or maybe Herbert to replace

I still think they can make it
That last quarter would have given them a lot believe and confidence

Keep the faith lads.

We saw our best, and our worst this game. Finals are still a possibility, just need to pinch one of the ones we are not expected to win.
We can start that with Geelong this week. Liked the last quarter, cant fathom how playing one quarter of footy we still almost managed a win.
Hall, I have been one of his biggest supporters, but yep that week in the 2's didn't work,.. Leave him down for longer.
Lemmen's I'd love to see back, but doesn't really replace Hall so don't know who to drop out for that.

Geelong play bad against smaller forwards they have big key defenders that peel off n spoil.. Aka Andrew makie Harry Taylor Jarod rivers etc.. They get exposed to the fast Eddie betts garlett yarran monfries type.. So give day a week off... N load up with sumner
Geelong only have 1 big forward over 190+ Hawkins we don't need Thompson May Day all down there at 2m tall.. Wen we can load up with pace

If you asked a West Coast supporter what happened yesterday, they'd probably say the Eagles took their foot off the pedal in that last quarter.

So who knows what we'll get. Geelong are a great side and this will be a huge test.

Ins and outs? Will we ever see Bock again?

Calling it now. We will win this.

We didn't see the Suns of 2014 out there for 3 quarters. One of the guys told me himself they were flat for 3 quarters. Coming off the Sydney game and doing the Perth trip which is killer for the boys. Not an excuse but they definitely looked flat until they woke up in the 4th.

I was disappointed and still am but we didn't deserve to win. Sort of glad we didn't pinch it in the end as we needed the wake up call. Geelong better be ready for a fired up Suns outfit.

Hall has to go back for a few weeks to regain some form , is in our best 22 when firing though . If Hall goes out Sumner will come in , cant see anyone else playing that some forward role . Day's form has dipped but will be retained . Can only see the one change , Sexton did well when he came on.

Very early to be saying finals is out. Should have 3 wins against the Lions, Dogs and Saints coming up, and Essendon in round 22 could be against their VFL reserves side so mark that down as a win. Will want to try and pinch either a win against the Pies at home or the Blues away, but if not we should win against West Coast in the final round to get 12 wins. That should be enough to make the 8 but we'll definitely want some % boost to ensure we dont finish 9th on %.

If Kennedy can kick 7 then I'm worried what Hawkins will do next round. Maybe recall Warnock or Murphy to try and bolster our defence. Geelong are very reliant on Hawkins as their tall option so stop Hawkins and we're halfway to winning.

Geelong

Uncontested Poss: 16th
Centre Bounce clearance : 16th

This is why Sydney smashed them by over 100 ponts

r u watching them smash the Saints now, if we play like yesterday they will demolish us

family, 3 under 9

Tokyo would recommend you stay near Ueno in Tokyo...easy access with the Skyliner, close to the city
Ueno has the zoo, the museums and shopping
Kyoto is beautiful and I love it , but maybe more an adult city
Everyone visits the old city and the castle
Definitely Mt Fuji tourist ring
There's a great tourist route that the kids would love that involves chairlifts trains boats and mountain railways
Osaka's kind of surprising fun...but I'd probably take a day out of Kyoto and Osaka and head down to Hiroshima
The kids can check out where Wolverine survived the bomb
The problem for us Gold Coasters is everyone suggests the theme parks ...unfortunately for us that's a busman's holiday
If you think you can manage it I'd recommend hiring a car

We can win this one. Cats have some senior players looking fairly sore. Plus their travelling record isn't flash.

Hope the loss our boys suffered will push them hard, cause I think we are a genuine chance to win if we play the way we know we can!

Looks like Jack Martin is playing. Big article in the Courier-Mail about it today. I'm a little hesitant with bringing him straight into the seniors, but he's apparently done a huge power of work. I'd say he comes in for Aaron Hall.

target man is unavailable this weekend. so who wants to do the target job v cats.

the suns have beaten the cats at home before and can do it again. it will be ugly as the cats fans are rapidly turning into egoheaded colliwoble style supporters. they need deflaiting.
