The game I watched last week, he was all class. Definitely worth a shot. Needs some endurance though

He's injured, I'm keen to see him at AFL also but left on crutches.

Apart from that last play by blair thought he was okay today lol. Had five tackles, good pressure to hold the ball in the forward 50 and 2 goals. Thought he did his role, can't expect too much from a 173cm player nowadays!

Anyway most of you will disagree but oh well. We always need someone to blame when we lose or are hurt and I think sometimes Blair cops too much of it! JT wasn't that good today, even Philips + Crisp were average.

Cox has been showing some good form in the AFL
Would bringing him in alongside Moore and sending Reid to the backline make sense.

Notice how in the first half we kicked long to contests and it paid off. We hardly went backwards at all. Man that was good. Hard to single out any players in the second half because it was team defence that let us down. How hard is it to man up?
Thought Moore had a good game. Wells best game in b&w.
Why is Treloar playing inside mid, really why? Has pace to burn but we don't play to his strengths.
Reid finding it hard to get away from his man. So often he's out of position or being double teamed.

Thomas was ok in the first half. Struggled in the second but man if Adams could hit a target in the first half he couldn't hit anything in the second.
Langdon did pretty well up to the injury before 3/4 time.
Blair didn't do much but his goal in the last was a lot better than him giving up holding the ball at the death.
Grundy should be given a special rule. No handballs. Man how many plays did he stuff up with poor handballs! Just kick it!
Shaz didn't do a lot. Short kicks or long high ones to the opposition advantage, why?
Maynard had a shocker IMO. Has had a poor month, time for a run in the vfl.

Think Aish and Cox will be in this week for Maynard and Shaz

It really annoys me that if Adams misses one target everyone tears him to shreads yet Grundy's disposals are atrocious, and nobody says a thing.
How often do you see him miss a handpass to a guy standing 2 metres away from him. How often do you see his handpasses drop straight to the ground. But because he is the golden boy no one says a word.
If Adams did the same thing there would be 15 threads on here roasting him.

I'd seriously give him 2-3 weeks off with "general soreness" and more if he still isn't feeling 100%

GC I normally admire your ability to assess things without bias but on this occasion no, just no.
12 possessions hardly qualifies as a good game.
He kicked one good goal but then did his usual "I don't know what my limitations are" act a few minutes later and coughed up a a stupid free kick.
It was not a good game. It was a sub standard bog ordinary game. He didn't do anything that half a dozen of our younger players wouldn't be able to produce. And at least with the younger guys we would be aiding their development.

True but if a player is playing with some sort of niggle then your just increasing the chance of it becoming more serious by playing him.
I agree we don't need to rest players just for the sake of it but those players. like treloar for example who are playing with minor injuries should just be rested. Why take the risk of further inflaming their injuries when there is nothing to be gained.
Also it gives some of the younger guys a chance to show what they can do at the top level
