Yeah, not too bad. I'd probably just keep Collier in. I didn't think he was that bad. Not too sure about TJ.

No reason to sack Collier for Hanley, thought Collier was good enough to keep his spot, and he needs the experience and the faith placed in him.

Basically agree with the other three, though TJ worries me. How far away is Selwood?

Agree.

Collier was OK....no point in change for for it's own sake.

And I'd give Selwood a game anytime ahead of TJ

However if Bunnings is not right for next week, give Trav a game....but only if he gets a hair cut

FFS Trav...get a haircut

I'd keep changes to a minimum:

OUT: Bradshaw, IN: Hendo
OUT: Brennan, IN: Tippett???

This could work.

Tippett as the designated Ruckman.

Clark as FF interchanging with Tippett in the ruck and Hendo as a spare tall.

We will need talls against MN to keep them honest.

sorry folks didnt get to see the game, how bad are the injuries to bradddy and brennan ?

Neither look likely for next week.

Bradshaw....hammy strain....2-3 weeks

Brennan....ankle....didn't look good....this is one of those hard to judge injuries.

Could be OK next week but could be up to 4 weeks, depending on whether or not there is ligament damage:(

I'd be willing to say:

In: Henderson, Tippet
Out: Bradshaw, Brennan

Then again, if Vossy was willing to play Notting in the ruck vs Geelong, I'm not sure that he is going to give Tippet a run, so my expected changes are more what I would like than what I would expect. So we might see TJ get another run.

We'll definatly need another ruckman coming in against North this week, they tend to play around 4 ruckman a game which could really hurt us. Notting in the ruck again cant be an option...

OK lads here's an off the cuff idea for this week against North:

Out: Bradshaw, Brennan
In: TJ, Henderson

Here's the off the cuff idea: TJ in the ruck, with Dalziell to relieve. This frees up Clark to roam the back half without having to bother getting bashed up in the ruck, and means that we have more people in there who can win clearances, as our ruckmen will also be right at the fall of the ball, even at full stretch. :thumbsu:

re: the OP,
i think Collier is only going to get better if given a few consecutive games rather than brought in and out of the seniors all the time.

agree with Hendersen and Hooper, although Im not sure on Proud he has STARTED to look like he COULD do some good things, but he still squibs at contests far too often.

i would be VERY surprised if Johnstone plays another game this season after being dropped is it 3?? times.

na, polkinghorne has clearly overtaken notting in the ruck pecking order :D

Hit outs vs Fremantle:

Clark: 37
Brennan: 7
Notting: 1
Polkinghorne: 1
Rich: 1
Black: 1

I'd be perfectly happy with our 4 in the centre square being Black, Rich and Riska/Sherman/Dazzle. Black and Rich alternate being in the ruck and the other retrieves it.

Are you crazy?

The obvious solution is to bring back TJ and Harding and play them both as ruckmen.

Besides it would guarantee that neither of them could possibly avoid body contact for even a few minutes, much less a whole game.

Harden them both up a bit....could only help with their development as players:thumbsu::)

I don't know, in the first game Brennan was thrown in the ruck (a few years back, our ruckmen had gone down due to injury, can't remember what game) he copped a knee to the ribs and was obviously winded. The rest of the game, he did as much as humanly possible to avoid body contact in the ruck.

Admittedly, TJ and Harding aren't as freakishly agile as Brennan but the fact remains that it is possible.

Harden them up? 'Back in my day'... we would brick up the bottom of one of those water theme park slides, show TJ and Harding footage of Mitch Clark sliding into the bunker at Subiaco and send them off to toughen up before we'd even contemplate returning them into the side via a rucking position. :D

Back on topic, my ins and outs.

OUTS: Bradshaw (hammy), Brennan (ankle), and seen on the tv this morning ‘rest’ Proud (concussion) after being knocked out.
INS: Cornelius, Hendo/Rockliff, Hanley.

Out: Bradshaw In: Henderson
Out: Brennan In: Johnstone
Out: Proud In: Hooper
Out: Collier In: Hanley

Do you guys keep this guy on the list just to play us? It is very annoying. :p

If the Kangaroos are going to play McIntosh, Petrie, Hale and Goldstein in the same team again, then we're going to need another tall.

Henderson fits the bill. Tippett should get some consideration as well.

Can't imagine Johnstone will get picked again.
