Please, we really need Cox :(

I don't think we will see Cox again this year, they still haven't worked out what is wrong with him and I cant see us playing him when we can't make finals.

I traded him out of my DT with this expectation.

Woosha made an interesting comment in his press conference. He said words to the affect of:

"Players that may appear to be playing good football, but are not sticking to team structures, will be left out."

It'll be interesting to see who misses out this week. Not too many players appeared to be playing good football IMO.

At the minimum swap Mackenzie for Hansen.

I've kept out of the Hansen debate but feel him hitting the post was the last straw. He doesn't take contested marks, and by 2009 standards isn't agile enough for further up the field so I'd hope he's played his last game.

Therefore bring in Mackenzie with Brown to move forward.

(BTW: Are we getting best value with Lynch having him him part time ruck, part time midfield and part time FF? Not fair on him and not good for the team structure - but then again do we have a forward structure? Good luck in the Richmond job, Suma!)

He must be deluded. The only good football out there yesterday was called Sherrin and wasnt breathing oxygen either. Ill go with

IN: McNamara McKenzie
OUT: Hansen Spangher

In: McKinley, Wilson, Cockie, Mackenzie
Out: Hansen, Butler, Swift, Spangher

Keep Nicnat for vs Ryder, will be good to see two leapers not knee-ers going at it, battle of the athleticism. Ryder will run off Seaby / Lynch all day long.

Hansen, Butler, Swift weren't all bad but are fringe players and need to be dropped after performances like that. Butler still doesn't seem confident.. I want to see him dominate WAFL before he comes back in. Spangher is so up and down... doesn't belong in defence, seems to do well in mid/HF but never gets a decent crack there.

Serious question: Does anybody actually want to win another game this year now?

Im not sure where I stand with the whole tanking thing but I feel its too late to try and get anything out of this year from a win/loss point of view.

Im heading over to Perth this weekend fr the game (booked it in the pre season hoping it could be a make or break style game) and now Im in the position where I could actually be hoping we lose.

Oh geez :thumbsd:

I wouldn't take any of our younger blokes out. We need them to have experience, they might as well witness it first hand as opposed to in the WAFL, it's not like our season is on the line.

Would like to see Cockie in the team for Butler though. Butler has been beyond shit this season and he simply doesn't deserve his spot. Would also like to see Wilson in as well.

LTI Hunter and upgrade Wilson, swap for nic nat
Drop Hansen for Mckinley, and Cockie in for Butler.

Ins: Wilson, Mckinley, Cockie
Outs: Nic nat, Hansen, Butler

Got a feeling we're well and truly going to stuff up your priority picks next weekend.

We were extremely bad today - at home, I reckon you guys are nearly certainties. Watch for Lynch to kick a bag.

Nice try. You'll win. The last time someone in our team hit a target with a kick was the grand final. :thumbsd:

How does Cockies, WAFL performance warrent selection. Pretty typical response, Swift is a future mainstay in the midfield and Cockie is a future fringe player and current Rookie.

Eastern, that may be the case (bit hard to say so early in both careers), but ATM I think Cockie handles the pace of AFL a bit better. Didnt even check his stats from the weekend. I just think Cockie looks a little more at home and can help out Priddis at the clearances.

Pretty sure Woosha said in his press conference that although it was pleasing that Wilson has been doing well in the WAFL, he wouldn't add much to the team in terms of improving our accuracy.

Not sure what to make of the comment.

I think it was tongue in cheek, he kicked 5 goals 6 IIRC, so he was just stating that he is kicking poorly like the rest of us. But who cares, an extra 5 goals a game would be about a 40% improvement on our usual output :P

Out

Wirra - back related hamstring :D
Kennedy - nose bleed :D
Embley - leather poisoning :D

In

Wilson - Cox on LTI list
Davis - for Wirra
Fletcher - for Embers

Only five more expert tactical games to the priority pi.........er I mean priority pilgrim (end of season trip). :p
