Changes for Saints

In: Winderlich (If fit)
Out: McVeigh

Else,

No Change.

We nearly knocked off a potential top 4 side... the In's this week led the way; Houli, Atkinson and Quinn. Actually taking the game on. Quinn nearly won the game for us, when we were down and out in the last quarter he was the only player willing to have a crack. Plus, 18 touches @ 94%.

In: Lovett, Winderlich, Lloyd, Hooker

Out: Quinn, Slattery, Hocking, Davey

This would improve our overall pace, skill and give us a lot more flexibility in the key positions and ruck.

Quin??? NLM??? We never would have gotten back into the game without them, NLM in the 3rd and Quinn in the 4th.

Change to above,

In: Lovett, Winderlich
Out: Hocking, McVeigh

I'm tending to agree with these changes. Will wait and see how we fare with injuries.

But people calling for Quinn to be dropped are crazy, did you actually watch the game? He slipped twice, got punished for it once, but he took the game on, caused a lot of pressure and hit targets unlike most of our regulars.

NLM also rose to the occassion, thought he played well, especially considering the week he's had. One of his best games for the year.

Mr Automatic selection Mcveigh wad av's again tonight - simply not enough intensity....disgree ? Look at Atkinson playing his 6 game..that kid deserves another go.
The drive, the desperation, the smother. On this game alone he deserves another year IMO.

Injury dependent selctions.

Out: Mcveigh - scape goat. Obviously did not do enough with his talent. Plus we have mant guys that can run throufh there ATM.
in: Hooker. needed to' support Ryder & NLM inthe ruck..

But why did he slip, what was he trying to do? He still has no idea how to play the ball when it is kicked in the air and i question what his role was in the side. The only thing he looks effective at is a link up player to create run. I can handle mistakes but his were from ignoring options around him and giving the leading forwards no hope to time their run.

Seasons over.

Play the kids.

Quinn stays in.

Bellchambers needs a few games. Ryder needs a chop out

Myers, Jetta, Zaha to be filtered in over the coming weeks.

Why not rest Llyody up now till next year.

Make Welsh, Mcviegh deserve games by playing well at Bendigo.

Give some players a break that deserve one.

Go bombers season 2010.

hopefully we can continue the trend of playing in a G/F the first year of each decade....... for the last two anyway

In : Lovett, Welsh,
Out : Dempsey, Quinn
Dempsey has been out of sorts for a while now and Atkinson did enough last night to suggest he can take his role.

PS : Not the biggest fan of Welsh coming in but we need experienced hard bodies against St Kilda.

What's with everyone wanting to make multiple changes once again, a slim hope for finals is still alive.

In:Lovett

Out Hocking

Tempted to tell Lloyd to go play for Bendigo for a week. His month before getting injured was disgraceful.

Winderlich and Lovett (if both available) are automatic selections (fastest midfielders we've got, no one else can break the lines like em) but i'm not sure who to drop. Davey sounds like a contender.
