Changes for Saints

Is this thread who the poster 'wants' in or who the poster thinks will actually go in? I thought it was who people think will go in, without their personal bias (and this is by no way a dig at anyone whatsoever).

Because not many people are mentioning Welsh really? And he IS going in. That's pretty much a certainty from all media coming out of the club.

I think he will be in and I personally want him in just for the record.

I dont know.. I got a bit more confidence in him than everyone else.. He's shown glimpses such as last yeat against westcoast where he got around a goal and 6 assists.. He had golden hands that day.

It's supposed to be who people believe will be selected, but I fear it's no longer the case.

Looks okay, our forward line is a bit of a worry but I don't think there's much we can do about it right now.

The defensive side of his game last week was woeful. Sherman and Power slaughtered him. Reimers isn't dropped.
I know that he wasn't dropped as the teams hadn't been released:thumbsu:. I was asking him why he would drop reimers, because although sherman did beat him he did provide a bit of drive himself and thats something i think the coaches will make him work on considering we are playing st kila and they will really hurt our midfielders the other way if they aren't accouantable.

I have a gut feeling Essendon are going to end St. Kilda's run this weekend.

:D:D:D

For the last 15 weeks opposition supporters have been coming onto the St Kilda board saying that they have a gut feeling their side will cause an upset over us.

RuckRyder was this weeks lucky charm.................:thumbsu:

Come on Donners, are you making that judgement with your head or your heart?

I don't think you will get as close as you did last time and you guys look pretty tired and sore too. Good Luck anyway.

We lost by 19 points earlier in the season against your boys without Fletcher, Welsh and Prismall and everyone who watched the game including the media felt Essendon had their chances but simply couldn't take their opportunities. We gave you a head start and we couldn't make up the difference. It's basically a final for Essendon, St. Kilda have basically guaranteed top spot and you've got a raft of players coming back after having at least a week off which could mean the Saints get off to a slower than usual start.

Not only that, Essendon are a proud club and won't be keen to allow St. Kilda to take our record.

Good luck, if you win, no surprise to EVERYONE, if you lose, think of me.

From essendonfc.com.au

"Tom Bellchambers, Andrew Lovett and Andrew Welsh have been named to replace Heath Hocking, Alwyn Davey and Michael Quinn who have all been omitted."

Overall I'm pretty happy with this. Davey's been struggling the last few weeks so I don't mind him out, Lovett is crucial to us getting close on Sunday and having Belly in will give us some different options.

Fingers and toes are crossed.

Take a look at the WCE game and how they moved the ball out of their back line. Now tell me what Davey does best. Terrible omission. As for dumping Quinn, not sure what playing a kid one week and not the next is good for.

Now with Bellchambers back in the side. Would it be worth chucking Ryder down Forward (or back)?

With Ryder down forward we'd have a much better chance at breaking the St.Kilda flood and if he were to play a bit down back then he'd bring great support to containing Riedwolt and Koszitski... (Please Excuse the spelling)

Davey is down on form, his tackles won't stick against the Saints. A considered omission if there ever was one by the Knighter. Quinn has shown a bit for next year, no need for over exposure for an L Plater. Interesting that Timmy W smells an upset for Sunday.

Well i gues we will see what happens with the opposite of this ;)
