In Walker Harts Hammo (must fast track develop't)
Out Ando Russell Fish (needs a shake up)

I think Sydney might be too small to need Carlos (unless Kruze needs a rest) and I could be convinced to get Banno back in there

also... all these ppl are saying bring hartlett in- he cant get a bloody kick in the vfl so what makes you all think hes gna dominate in the afl???

He's frustrated with his injuries and lack of oppurtunity henceforth. If we can take care of this guy he WILL BE A GUN.

Hadley's better imo.

he is too injury prone.
bentick is more reliable in that aspect.
most players you dont use injury as an excuse but hadley has played 47 games or smtin n hes 25!
8 seasons- 47 games

averaging 6 games a season just about! thats not good enough for me.
i would rather have someone who could fill a position (bentick) for the whole year than have hadley who plays 3 or 4 games then goes down with an injury.
hadley has played 8 seasons: only in 1 season has he not injured himself.

we may have bought a lemon in Hadley - AB only playing well every second week is disappointing as when he is down he does not seem to come good for even a Q

ye bentick needs to improve his consistency. but something he does always do is go in hard, head over the ball and never will back out of a contest- same with wiggins.

Or keep Kruezer drop Wiggins.

Wiggins has suprised me, been good.

For me there's two outs that must and will happen.

OUT: Edwards, Anderson
IN: Walker, ....?

Edwards and Anderson may be kids, but there are better kids then them and Walker has to come in too.

Russell has been good enough to keep his spot 1 more week i'd say, unless Armfield is ready.

O'haiplin i'm not sure on....and Browne had an ok enough game, but could get the chop too.

I'll reserve judgement until the reserves play.

Personally i don't think we should be making massive changes (as much as i would like to see Pfeiffer and Hampson and Hartlett play). The boys just need to gel together for a few weeks now and then we can see where to go from there.

this is where you are wrong. after a pathetic performance, changes need to be made to let everyone know that their position in the team isnt safe and they must all perform week in week out and one bad week could mean they are not selected.

walker has to come back in, setanta has to aswell to strengthen a very vulnerable backline that we had against the saints (everytime st kilda went into their attacking 50, they were destined to score)
and anderson and edwards shouldnt be playing afl- they are both not up to the speed of the game and they are both not talented enough.

The boys know their positions aren't safe. But you have to take into account that we are an inexperienced team still learning, and for that i say the boys need to be given ample time, along with opportunity to prove themselves.

Massive changes now would only effect the structure of the team.

If a change has to be made (being in Walkers case), then i'm all for it. However making wholesale changes is not going to get us anywhere. Especially with the fact we're facing Sydney next week.

And how can you honestly make that statement about Anderson when he's only played two games? I'm guessing you were one of the people asking for Paul Bower to be axed this time last year too.

You should give the boys a chance instead of running around like headless chickens and demanding changes be made.

no i have backed paul bower from day one.

on anderson: he is not ready- it is very obvious he isnt up to the standard of afl yet.

im not saying he should make huge structural changes but bringing in setanta and walker would strengthen the team and taking out anderson and edwards really wouldnt affect much.

Walker didn't play this week simply because the coaches didn't think he was ready and it wasn't worth risking - + his skills were a little shaky.

Should be an inclusion this week.

IN: Walker
OUT: Russell

How many games have they played so you can make such a definite statement?

Anderson and Edwards are just 20 years of age and played less than 10 games.

Walker should force Anderson out of the side, but he's still a talent worth persisting with and developing when he has size and pace.

Carrazzo has had a dirty month, but will survive.

I hope Hampson is promoted for Kreuzer who will be rested shortly according to Ratten.

You said Anderson wasn't talented enough, so don't back track and change your tune to Anderson not being ready for AFL. :thumbsd:

Good time to rest Kreuzer against Jolly & Everitt in my opinion.

While he doesn't have the second efforts of the Murphy's or the clean pick-ups of the Judd's and Gibbs' when Russel is given opportunity he generally takes advantage. A much bigger concern is Anderson/Grigg/Browne. While they all have the talent they seem to have lost the hunger they all possessed in there earlier games and are showing far less than Russel. The kicks to him were preety ordinary as well, cue Waite and Thornton.
In: Walker, Hampson
Out: Anderson, Grigg/Browne

We bring in IMO a much better tap ruckman than the Kreuz at the moment and Hampson also allows for Kreuzer and/or Cloke to rest forward. Although I wouldn't totally be against dropping Cloke after his last few performances. Walker is the obvious inclusion, we are missing desperation and hunger at the football and it is something this man supplies in bucket-loads Anderson will surely take his place.
