Harbrow officially taken off the Long Term Injury list.

Coad put back on the rookie list. Could mean his selection coming up!

Just wondering where you get your info, are you closely associated with club. Do you have a link?

WC will be hurting after 2 losses in a row.
One loss, we beat the blues then travelled to the G last week.

Gonna try and get tix to this to see some of your young blokes go around. Good luck for the game!

My bad. Thanks for the correction, this is the perfect chance for Bennell to use his outside pace to tear the game apart as well as Patrick to use his pace in the forward line to create some headaches.
You've got the good Bennell at least. He's come on in leaps and bounds this year, probably more so than other players on the Suns list who were touted to.
For the record, got a couple of tickets so will be there. Should be a good match to see the kids and dad (Ablett) go around against our blokes :thumbsu:.

Out: Russell, Thompson, Rischitelli, Tape
In: Shaw, May, Dixon, Harbrow.

All make sense, though I'm not sure about living Sexton in the back pocket!

Team looks as good as it can. Just really starting to look a shadow of its former self, but such is our lot right now. The experience will do our fringe players like May the world of good.

My tip is Sexton to get subbed at half time, and harbrow to be subbed in.

Spewing Russell is injured. Starting to suspect Mav will be trade bait at the end of the year too.

disagree with Weller, has shown a couple good things to persist with a little bit longer in my opinion. Can't expect all our draftees to come good within 20 games?

I also rate him, but feel coaches might market him around come trade week. Gut feels though it falls through and he stays :)

I rate Weller and think he's a ball magnet with some questionable execution skills. I would love to see him stick around.

Unfortunately though, if Weller still cannot get a game (or even get close) with the injuries we have, when can he? The writing is starting to get scribbled on the wall. It was pretty much my first thought when I saw the teams. He played very well against the Eagles last year, too. Would have preferred him over Wilkinson.

Agree Sunny
Knows exactly where to be on a footy ground which is usually a gift rather than learnt
If he can get his decision making and skills going Mav will be a good footballer
Should look to how Jobe Watson has come on skills wise, although he was always a good footy brain.
i'd like to persist with him

re this weekends game though...maybe some nasty little optimism fairy has thrown pixie dust on me, but I think Tab Sportsbet offering $6 for a <35 point margin mightn't be a bad bet
Sure we are down plenty, but I've liked Smith Matera and Bennell recent weeks...and the ins are pretty good
You look at our forward line and think..surely that's got the talent to kick a winning score?
McKenzie named behind the ball...interesting.Trent is top of my "Most Disappointing" list.
He's going to have to make some hard decisions mentally and physically in the last half of the season to salvage something from this year.
Maybe needs to go all Samson and grow the hair again

I thought we had a reasonable chance of scoring until I saw (or was reminded of) their defence. Our 15 gamer full forward is on arguably an AA-level defender in Glass. Dixon is playing against a CHB not far off AA in MacKenzie, and Waters, who is on Matera, is also not far off. You through in Hurn as well, and we could have serious trouble scoring. They have high amounts of quality in the back-six, take away maybe their Irish recruit. Stanley and Brennan are going to have to really contribute I think for us to apply any sort of scoring pressure.

Certainly I have that sinking feeling.

Not sure the players will play in the position named on the website. Stanley played through the mid against North and did a good job on Swallow. So til the players take the field I am not convinced. Excited to see how Harbrow goes and May back in should be a big positive.Hope Dixon has a great game he is a man mountain. Saw him the other day and he is a big lad.

Do not know what is happening with Mav thought he may have got back in but Hine played such a great game against North so I think if he keeps it up and I think he will Mav will have to wait especially now Harbrow is back. Do not think we will win but just want to see a game where they put up a fight for 4 quarters.

WC is going to be a tough game, they are big and strong and play I think like we want to play. They along with Adelaide are I think the hardest at the ball in the competition so we will have to be prepared for a physical game.

Karmichael is going to be very important in tight, if we can get the ball out of these stoppages quickly Harley and Gaz should be able to get some room to move.

If we stand up in this area we have a chance, you saw it with the Lions beating them in Brisbane. Anyway, really looking forward to the game..

I'm not looking forward to the next fortnight at all. From the start of the season, I've eyed these two fixtures and gulped.

Eagles over in Perth has embarrassment written all over it, and watch the media swarm then. I just hope we bring a good intensity and effort, which will hopefully not lead to an epic blowout. If we can keep it within 30, that's a huge win. Expecting about a 10 goal loss though.
