One day we'll convert the pressure onto scoreboard and it will be beautiful
Definitely won the footy contest in the 2nd quarter
Hope we can continue some pressure into the last half
Loving Bennell and Dicko today

I can hear Bluey now," good effort I could see the improvement. About 40 mins of football let us down, we moved away from our structures and the boys are young and cooked. Can somebody validate my parking as I need to get back to the Coast and set the plan on how I justify next week abysmal effort. "

EDIT oh plus a plane trip so 126 point loss is actually a good effort

Brereton the commentator made a good observation. He thought we may lack the fitness of other afl clubs. Who is our current head conditioning coach?

I think we played hard but got outclassed BY A TOP 2 TEAM for the sake of your chosen deity.

14 players out with 5 of the starting backline out injured it was never going to end well.

On the bright side, atleast we don't have to put up with NicNac next week.

Harbrow had gastro, so that's why he did not play.
Can't be any worse than the stuff coming from the mouth of our so called members and other random mud slingers from other clubs on our facebook page tonight.

It depresses me.

Saw that, they really have no idea the people who bag suns after every loss. Judge when the suns core group of players born in the 90s have 50-150 games under their belt.

Can't they see the list strategy behind the club? We aren't meant to be winning ball games ATM, that comes down the track...

Didn't see the 2nd half(thank goodness), but one of our big issues is the lack of reward for effort
I created the "How are we going to kick a winning score?" thread 18 months ago, and club hierarchy still hasn't addressed it
A "normal" AFL club would have come away with at least 6 goals from todays second quarter
As it was..the WCE actually win the quarter and heads go down and the rest is history
I'm no fan of Bluey, but he's right
You lose big and it seems like every little muscle twinge is a major tear...you win and you're thinking"I could play another game right now"
Some little glimmer to hold on to in the darkest of 2nd seasons...this year the big clubs are not resting players against us.
It's a function of our big losses and the logjam at the top..they can't afford not to take the same percentage on offer as their competitors, because at the end of the season it might be the difference between a home final or not..so while it's not easy for the boys, they are actually playing the best every week..unlike last year.

Don't have a Facebook account so thankfully I'm not exposed to Generation Whine's self pre-occupied crap

My only issue with the club is we have no real 'hard ass' coach. Bluey, Hinckley and co are sound tactitions but they don't have that intimidation factor like a Mathews or a laidley or a Thompson.

Anyone know the contract statuses of our assistants? Who can we replace in off season as I know there's no budget for an additional...

Missed the first quarter. Caught the second quarter where we looked to be playing OK. Then missed the second half because I had to go out again. Got home and saw the final scoreline. OUCH!! Going to be hard to get the boys' confidence up for the rest of the year after that performance. Were there any positives to take out of the second half that could justify me wasting an hour watching it?

I havent checked out the Facebook page but you. Cant blame people for being dissappointed, it was a discraceful effort and why it could be argued that we have no right to win a game like that a 126 point thrashing is reason enough for people to question the direction we are taking. I don't mean more older players as isles, Dixon, smith, Stanley, Ablett, flash, horsley, hunt etc are not babies and should provide strong bodies, I am talking about the inability to hit a target, allowing your opponent free space, tackling and gut running, these are all about effort and desire neither of which was on display yesterday and for the majority of the season.

GWS and Bulldogs both lost by around 100 points, Does that mean they both need new coaches and should have their fans being disappointed?

Blowouts happen in the AFL even to established clubs, We've been beaten by worse and need I remind you all that we have a grand total of 14 players out through injury, Most won't be coming back until next year.

Call me when we lose to GWS and Melbourne by 130 points and then I'll start to panic. Slow your roll people, Surly when you all started following the Suns you knew that this wasn't going to be a cakewalk.
