Not hand. Checkers is in a moon boot due to an ankle injury. If he was to miss, I suspect it would be ankle related, not hand related.

I wouldn’t discount it being hand and foot. He is as tough as they get. The ball was bouncing off his plans like they were fry pans at times…that’s a sign of a jabbed up hand.

Both sides backed in their mids without clogging it up. I thought it was a really even shootout around stoppage. Serong had 35 possessions, 13 clearances, 9 tackles and 700 metres gained. He played one hell of a game.

Yeah, Serong and Brayshaw were just as good. Couple points the other way and the discussion would be why the Suns did nothing to curtail them. Both sides failed to slow down the star mids.
