Revising my changes, as I misremembered what Walsh said about JDG's availability.

OUT: Mayne (inj.) - Cameron - Hoskin-Elliott - Phillips
IN: Greenwood - Ruscoe - Lynch - Bianco

FB: Maynard - Roughead - Madgen
HB: Crisp - Moore - Quaynor
C: Daicos - Adams - Greenwood
HF: Elliott - Lynch - Mihocek
FF: Stephenson - Cox - Thomas
FOL: Grundy - Pendlebury - T. Brown
INT: Ruscoe - Bianco - Noble - C. Brown

come on, how slick was Broomhead. One touch, elite kicking... his goal from the centre square? Last week 3 goals and 30 touches. Just needs timemin the middle. c and at Brown get it, he should be given a chance.

I’d rather get games into our kids.

Broomhead has never been able to translate his form at lower levels into the AFL.

Personally I think he’s a certainty to be delisted.

Broomhead seems like the classic guy who dominates VFL, or state league footy otherwise, but can't crack it at the top level because it's just that level too quick for him. He never has the time nor space in AFL that he does in VFL/scratch matches

How are we 'light as feck' in the midfield..? Our core midfield is Grundy, Pendles, Adams and Elliott. Ty is light obviously, be he stood up brilliantly in there today. Our contested footy was good today. We just shoot ourselves in the foot bringing in Wills, slows down an already slow team and cripples our ability to spread from stoppages. He's also the least versatile player on our list, he goes from semi-useful around stoppages to witches hat around the ground for 50% of the game and then 50% on the bench.

He's a potato. We finally showed some good signs in that second half, if we resort back to the style of game that Wills is a factor in we might as well pack it in for the year.
True we don't need him if
Elliott keeps it up
Pendels plays defensively at clearances
T brown was great in heavy traffic

Outs
Mayne (certainly)
Big out ,can lock down on a player ,close gaps and fill spaces
Whilst true he's vanilla with the ball seldom loses a contest ,holds the ball up and always puts it on the line
Could be his last game for him

Let's hope his replacement can wear his Cape with pride
Hoskin Elliott
This bloke had a relative who played for us
Great skills
No heart

Gee imagine if we could put maynes heart into him
Really been showed up

There's been talk of dropping Cameron
,But I point out this structure is a winning structure

Guys play with confidence with big targets to kick too
His replacements are not ready
Reid
De goey

Is Lynch a chance?

Ins Greenwood
Out mayne

If we drop Cameron
I'm bringing Keene in
Kicked his first goal last week could easily offer more than Cameron

Certainly plays robust
Good dukes
Good kick

Love to see him beat the shit out of Andrews and butter up in Robertson
Like to have a look at tohill as well

Team player out
Team player in
Both defensive space fillers
Wills might be a team player, but he's not an AFL quality player at all. Greenwood is the obvious replacement. Better at everything and more of a team player. Makes everyone walk taller

Out: WHE, Mayne, Cameron, Brown

In : Ruscoe, Greenwood, Lynch, Langdon

Ruscoe has a great ability of finding the goals.

Greenwood sits on Neale all day.

Langdon can play as the intercepting defender.

Cameron spends majority of his time rucking in the F50 And when Grundy’ off the ground. Lynch should be given an opportunity to do that. He will excel.

I’m expecting big things from Grundy. They’re playing the Big O in the ruck. He should absolutely dominate him.

We need to get some sentimentality out of selection.

I always remember 2010 when we had O’bree, Fraser, Medhurst, Lockyer and Leon etc playing significant chunks in the VFL and giving opportunity to younger guys with potential.

Realistically I don’t see us challenging this year so now is the perfect time to blood them.

Whether that be Murphy, Rantall, Bianco, Keanne... we just need to start getting games into them. Particularly given there will be absolutely no VFL this year.

The more I think about it, there is absolutely no way Cameron should be played against Brisbane. Seeing Harris Andrews run off him for mark after mark would be disheartening.

Cameron had -3 metres gained from his 1 disposal. Pretty poor.

Somehow he was outdone though. Mayne had -9 metres gained from 12 disposals! Hard to comprehend how that's even possible. Darcy Cameron also had 1 more score involvement than Mayne, even though he only touched it once!

Maynes toughness is to be admired. Puts guys like WHE and Phillips to shame.

Ultimately though that can’t be enough to justify his selection.

We need to somehow transplant Mayne's brain into the body of Hoskin-Elliott. He'd be a star!

Mayne is certainly admirable in the way he goes about it. I just think his time is up. He should be kept on though. Feel like he'd be a great runner, for team spirit as much as anything. Still weird to me seeing Scott Selwood being chummy with our blokes

Best to leave Cox at full forward

Disrupt our backline if you move the other 2

Giving Cox five minutes in the ruck is no different to team structure than giving him five minutes on the bench.

Why? He’s just as unproven.

At least with Cameron we get consistency.
Changes for the sake of changes don’t win games

I don’t think it’s the sort of consistency we should be striving for.

We most certainly do not get consistency with Cameron. 3 weeks ago he took 9 marks and had 15 disposals for 2 goals. Yesterday he touched the ball one time for an entire match.

Finally our mids actually kicked to Cox on the lead rather than bombing it to his head, and surprise surprise he starts kicking a few goals.

he took 3 Marks...let’s not get carried away.
One was when the game was effectively over and he converted.
The other was uncontested chest mark at the top of the square.

He kicked 2 goals which is handy but he’s not out of the woods yet

He's out of the woods if Cameron keeps playing like that. His spot is as secure as possible with DC not showing up

I disagree with this. 5 minutes in the ruck for Cox, then he goes off the ground. We are back relying on Mihocek as our KPF.

That’s when we get exposed. We constantly need a 200cm+ player in our forward line.

That’s the benefit of a Grundy, Cameron , Cox situation.

Either Cameron or Cox will be playing a deep forward role through the whole match.

Same. It feels wrong to have a Selwood around the place. I think he’s a spy. Geelong want to find out our secrets such as whether Pendles is really from a basketball background.

If you put Mayne's brain into WHE's body he'd snap in half within 5 minutes!

Greenwood is a no brainer for Mayne, we needed to fit him in anyway this week.

I'm still struggling with Cal, haven't given up on him but Tyler is looking more likely.

The one player I want to see in the team is Murphy, looks to have filled out a little and he did not look out of place previously.

If Langdon is good to go then we would need him out there sooner rather than later. (I don't think he is)
