Is it really necessary to give Brown a clip? Personally, I think his best position is inside mid.

Absolutely, only way he makes it is inside mid. No good around goals but alright in traffic and if he can improve his touch he already has a great side step and could become handy. Very early but feel the same about Tyler.

The Noble forward one isn't that bad an idea actually. While I like JT he is far from the 2018/early'19 player we saw, Noble is quick, chases and runs hard so I think it would be well worth giving him a go i50. These are the sort of things I'd love our coaching panel to be brave enough to try, highly doubt they will though.
My son and I were calling for noble to be tried as a forward for last year. He is quick enough to apply defensive pressure and a clever ball user. Buckley is so loathe to try something different when we are struggling it's infuriating.

At the moment its only Bucks and a photo of Eddie on "the bus". Everyone else got off long ago

Cox basically defeated WCE by himself in the QF last year. But anyway, that's fine. I'm assuming that means Moore forward and Keane back.

That's a bold strategy...

Nope. Keane, Moore, Roughead will tackle Kennedy, Darling & Allen.

Cameron will replace Cox.

I’d think it’s more likely Keane plays forward than Moore IMO.

Why is Cox out, or being talked of as out? Have I missed something...
I'd say it's rewarding Cameron. I would have played both, but I wouldn't be surprised if this means Darcy Mooreis going to play forward. I like it if true. Moore against a team that zones might be deadly.

Could have waited until Anzac Day for this.
Without Moore, our backline will be eaten alive against West Coast.

Crazy to think if Zac Bailey missed that set shot we'd have the same record as Richmond and I've got no doubt this wouldn't be happening yet.
Well then I’m glad he nailed that shot because it would have been paper over the cracks otherwise.

I'd be more worried about the loss of transition and intercept than the defensive side of it. Eg. getting hemmed in by their zoning.

This will be interesting to see how we move the ball.
I'm praying for something fast and direct on the move but deep down i know what to expect....
I'm really hoping that we move away from trying to exploit the stand on the mark rule by hitting up 45 degree short passes out of defence nad look to use it to wheel and go.

Based on McGuane article.

Noble and Moore forward, C.Brown back, Quaynor to play rebounding HB don't get taken deep, Cox out, Pendles and Sidey rotating mid/forward, T.Brown replaces Adams, Cameron in for Cox, WHE dropped.

Play Pagan's paddock with DeGoey.

Maynard Roughead C.Brown
Quaynor Madgen Howe
McCrae Pendlebury Daicos
Mihocek Moore Noble
McCreery DeGoey Sidebottom

Grundy, Crisp, T.Brown
Int: Sier, Cameron, Thomas, Mayne

Ins: Cameron, McCrae, T.Brown
Outs: Adams (inj), Cox, WHE

NB: I'd even consider Keane in for Madgen at CHB.

Besides Moore forward I like that. We should definitely play Pagan's paddock with de Goey, he's our only dominant forward.

Tyler stayed in melbourne.

In: Ruscoe, Cameron, Keane, Macrae, Greenwood
Out: WHE, Cox, Sier, Adams

Is that it? Ruscoe probably sub.

Surely this can’t be the week that Moore is played as a forward? Especially not with Kennedy, Darling, Allen and even Nic Nat as forward marking targets for WCE?

And if Moore plays as a defender, then the likely INs/OUTs just made our impotent forward line even weaker. Who would have ever imagined that could be possible?
