Just an aside, I can't wait to see what Luko can bring to the forward line .

I think who plays tonight at the magpies tells us if sav is out.I saw on some news article that popped up on my FB feed that big sav trained by himself with some sort of injury doubt this week. So Finlayson might be there to offer some sort of cover there as well.

Finlayson and Berry back in do not fill me with inspiration. Shit, I thought Zerk was back - would have mitigated the addition of those two a bit. Could we lose to North?
Losing to North after beating Hawthorn and Sydney away, would be the most Port thing ever.
If he can kick 40 to 50 goals a year, I might have to reconcile it.A level of softness that would make softly detergent powder embarrased.
Not really. The most port thing ever would have been to lose to the good teams and smash teams like north. We flat track better than anyoneLosing to North after beating Hawthorn and Sydney away, would be the most Port thing ever.
Thinking outside the box, very interesting. The trade was great. Its unbelievable that Gold Coast gave us Luko on top of the future first we gave up for Atkins. Realistically a player of Ratkins quality is a first and a second on his own.
It really wouldn't.It'd certainly be the most Stinkley thing ever.
Round 22 2019 says hello.It really wouldn't.
Beating up on the cellar dwellers has been his wheelhouse until this year
If Finlayson actually tries he's easily in our best 22. If he doesn't he's a morale sapping cancer worse than playing 10 Ratkins' or McEntee's. Is he going to actually try this week? ****ing hope so.Finlayson isn't the worst selection for this week. Stretches a weak North back line and provides ruck support in what is going to be a challenging midfield contest against one of the league's best rucks.
Agree. Really just hope he switches on, could be such a valuable asset for our team while lukosious and Marshall are mia.If Finlayson actually tries he's easily in our best 22. Might sound old fashion but if a player isn’t giving a 100% all of the time he’s out the door.Agree. Really just hope he switches on, could be such a valuable asset for our team while lukosious and Marshall are mia.
That’s fair enough too. Finlayson is a slightly different case with his off field goings on in my opinion. If played up forward I hope that he enables a bit of freedom for Georgiades and enables lord to play better due to not being gassed from having to ruck. Its fingers crossed rather than a sure thing though.Might sound old fashion but if a player isn’t giving a 100% all of the time he’s out the door.
Once you allow pea hearted efforts to become the norm it can spread like wild fire through the team.
If we want to be like Port of old this is the mentality we should be striving to achieve.
Yeah he has the talent but it’s between the ears where the problem lies. That’s fair enough too. Finlayson is a slightly different case with his off field goings on in my opinion.
