Those in contention to come in;

VArcoe - certainty, idiot act cost him and us but he comes straight back in.
Crocker - 3 goals in a losing side, a team that got smashed, comes in
Scharenberg - hmm, loved his game today, but I question if bringing him in is the right thing yet. Look at Ramsay off an ACL too, he doesn't look like the real JAckson Ramsay, I say NO, not yet.
Dunn - Was poor, got beat by numerous opponents today in the VFL, maybe if we need to go tall against Buddy, Tippet, Sam Reid, but I'm not a fan.
Cox; I''d be shocked if he plays anywhere next week, got a nasty knock to the leg late in the game and will be a sore boy tomorrow. So NO.

So;

In; Varcoe, Crocker
Out; I can't even pick 2 particular players, could pick any of 10 after tonight.

Not beating the Swans, they are likely to be 0-2 too. Season on the line for them, but please show more poise and skill you absolute dumb spud footballers. I don't think I've ever seen a dumber side then the one that played the Tigers.

Smith just doesn't have enough strings to his bow.
He is not in my best 22 or even 25, but I'd be stunned if he's dropped just yet.

Out: Blair, Crisp
In: Varcoe , (if no Elliott or Greenwood, then hold a competition and see who can kick straight and he gets a game)

On final notice: Fasolo, Maynard, Smith (maybe harsh)
Need a few games before they're on final notice: Ramsey, Aish, Schade, Philips,

WHE to move forward
Howe can't just move forward, if our tactics are to bang it high and hope Howe takes a hanger, then we're really in trouble. He's immense down back. However why he can't rotate, I have no idea.

We need to kick it straight and we are REALLY missing Wells and Elliott - Greenwood and De Goey huge outs as well

For mine I just think we need more run, carry and hardness down there. And Varcoe in for him will give us that. I doubt it will happen though we seem pretty content to let Varcoe chase for no reward.

Varcoe will return, thankfully

Ps crisp is borderline being dropped too

Scharenberg was good in the VFL?

Not sure if serious about dropping Fasolo.

He's like one of our 2 only threats up forward..

Think Buckley will put Wells in against Sydney, going 0-3 is just too demotivating for the team.

Out: Blair, Schade, Smith

In: Varcoe, Keeffe, Wells (Should be Dunn but I don't want to see Dunn vs Tippett/Franklin, giving up too much height)

We have too many players doing too much right now.

FB: Ramsay ~ Keeffe ~ Goldsack
HB: Aish ~ Reid ~ Howe
C: Wells ~ Pendlebury ~ Sidebottom
HF: WHE ~ White ~ Broomhead
FF: Fasolo ~ Moore ~ Mayne
R: Grundy, Treloar, Adams
Int: Phillips, Maynard, Varcoe, Crisp

Scharenberg was good in the VFL?
Was in our best 2-3 players in a very poor team performance. Showed his poise and control of the ball and defended quite well. I just question if he still needs 1-2 more runs in the VFL before he's totally ready to stand up to the pressure of senior footy.

What I want:

OUT: Blair, Mayne, Crisp, Schade (and I'd love to put a rocket up Fasolo, Mayne, Ramsay, and co but we don't have the players right now)
IN: Elliott, Varcoe, Greenwood, Dunn

We simply don't have the luxury of waiting until players are cherry ripe to play them. A one-legged Jamie Elliott is still three times the player Jarryd Blair is.

As for the remainder, Crisp is horribly out of touch and needs replacing with a hard nut - Levi has pulled up remarkably well from his operation and should be ready. Mayne cost us the game with his miss in the 3rd, and is generally uninspiring - Daicos was named an emergency tonight and is already more damaging with what limited touches he can accumulate. And Schade played Dunn into the team with that performance. Unfortunate, but too panicky.

I'd love to have Sinkers to bring in for Ramsay, Wells for Aish, De Goey for Smith... but we're just not meant to get this team up and running, it seems.

What will probably happen, but shouldn't:

OUT: Broomhead
IN: Crocker

In: Varcoe, ???

Out: Blair, Crisp

We are missing some quality, and simply not sure we have the personal to come in and make an impact against Sydney.
Those two guys have to go, they were horrible.

Perhaps we just start playing youth more and throw young Daicos in the deep end, he will fumble less.

We are screaming out for Wells talents. Elliot obviously and god dam DoGoey.

Could drop half the side on tonight's performance, problem is most of the guys you'd like to bring in are injured or just not ready, (Elliot, Crocker, Scharenberg, Wells, Wills, Keeffe, Thomas, etc.)

Blair has to go out for Varcoe and we seriously look an experienced tall shy at either end of the ground.

Can't drop Fas as he is our only threat of kicking 4+, but that being said he was the worst on ground tonight by a huge, huge margin.
