I can't see us getting close to the Cats unfortunately. Scott is just a Megamind when it comes to big game day coaching.

We will need to play literally 3 rotating defenders on Jezza. Needs to be a team effort, a few strategic blocks here and there and swap around depending if he wants to roam or not - wouldn't be opposed to having Berry tag him if/when he decides he wants to play wing/centre during play. It's going to be a massive task.

Really - I hadn’t noticed. Thanks. If I had to choose between McKenna and Answerth to be in the starting lineup, I’d go for Answerth. I’ve been critical of him in the past, but he was awesome against GWS.

Neale is such a warrior anyway, that Marvel game he played a few years back where he was hobbling between contests but still made a big contribution. From memory he picked up two separate injuries in that one. Wish I could remember which game it was.

Vs Carlton in 2021 under the roof. I think after that game he missed 7 or 8 consecutive games. We won all of them.

Not necessarily. What if we practice the hard ones but not the easy ones?

Do we even practice kicking for goal from 20 metres out directly in front? Or do we think that is too easy and spend all our time kicking the tough shots from 40m out on the boundary? I mean, sure, if you're nailing shots from 40m out on the boundary, of course we should be nailing them from 20m out directly in front. But the mind doesn't work like that. If you haven't practiced it to the extent that you could basically do it in your sleep, you haven't practiced it enough.

Anyone else in Brisbane experience a fair bit of smoke yesterday (Thursday)? I went for a 5k run around lunch time and found myself struggling a bit more than usual. And smelt like an incinerator when I got home.

Hopefully it wasn't too bad for the players out at Springfield - would have almost been worthwhile training indoors if it was anything like at West End.
