We played very well against the Cats in the Nab Challenge. I know it's not the preseason anymore, and the effort is different, but surely it should be a close game?!

The players we're missing the most are Jaeger, Charlie, and Danny Stanley. All three is these players truly leave a mark where they're playing, and their grunt is what we really need. I suppose you can add Gaz (maybe even the whole rest of the time), because he's missing too.

I can't imagine the 'setback' would be anything hugely significant, as he got through the game fine. Maybe something done in training to stiffen it up?

Anyway, I have no problems bringing in someone who can apply a bit more defensive pressure. Get Gazza right! Even if he's out all year, get him right for next year.

I hate having Gaz out of the lineup but, he needs to get right. No Gaz, no Jaeger...Eade has his work cut out for him. We may very well see that win regression he talked about but, it should help us build a stronger club.
