Another thing worth noting, is that Adelaide had NO pressure applied to them all game last week.
The Roos were like witches hats.
If we can bring our pressure again, but sustain it for 4 quarters, it going to make it a lot harder for their mids to do as they please.
I know we let a 50 odd point lead slip, but in the last 8 minutes of the game, the boys really dug deep to hold them out.

Yep, they have a lot of outside/smaller mids too, with Scott Thompson and Crouch out. We'll beat them if we can keep it a tight contested game IMO, otherwise we'll get embarrassed.

Heard that Thompson played very well last week and may be an inclusion. Couch did too but not sure there is reason to change last weeks winning line-up too much.

But I just don't believe Blair really adds anything to the side. Like, at all. Even when he plays well, I don't feel he does anything that would have cost us the match had he not been there. That's all I'm saying. I personally feel he doesn't add anything that we miss him if he's gone. Don't get me wrong, at his very best he can be a very handy crumbing forward, but how often do we see that? How often HAVE we seen that?

I'd rather get the games into Karnezis, Broomhead or Kennedy.
You mean times like this?

Two changes for me.
Out : Sidebottom, Oxley.
In: Broomhead, Seedsman.

If DeGoey is dropped I'd bring Dwyer in for him (if fit).
If not fit, bring in Freeman.

Skills are a must this week, and all of my possible inclusions have them.
Seeds and Freemans pace would also be very handy.

Oxley is a beautiful kick.

The teams in peeps and the changes are.

In: Broomhead & Seedsman
Out: Sidebottom & DeGoey

I would have gone with Gault over Seedsman myself and Dwyer seems stiff, but considering how pedestrian the Bulldogs made us look speed and skill seems the priority!

I'm with you Scodog in relation to Dwyer, but happy with those changes.

I don't mind those changes too much, but would have liked Gault in as extra support for Grundy.

Who are the emergencies?

If Seedsman is in does that mean we are playing 9 defenders?
I would imagine Seed would play on a wing, maybe rotating through half back.

Don't have the emergencies unfortunately, but my stab at them are Gault, PK and DeGoey.

Thompson is coming back from an injury and has only played 3/4 of a game...wouldn't think he'd be back yet

Broomhead. :thumbsu:

So Grundy, who was gassed in the final quarter last week, is expected to take Jacobs and Jenkins by himself, with a token chop-out from White. Okay...

Didn't think Seedsman had the body of work to come in, but glad to have him in nevertheless.

Not sure why they think we need the extra small defender against Adelaide, if Williams and Sinclair take Betts and Cameron. Williams into the middle?

Lets see if you've got the good mail, or if you've been Mini_Skipps-ed...

If this is the case, I'm a little disappointed. Not so much at the players coming in as I think Broomy and the Seed can be valuable contributors, but it's a little annoying to see a rookie dropped after playing as the sub the week before. I just dont see the point of giving a kid the vest, him playing 20 minutes of football and then out of the side the next week. I am not for a second presuming that he should be a best 22 lock but if we're bringing kids up into the seniors, you've got to give them a chance to make an impact, dont you?

Also think we've one tall short of a well balanced side. Unleash the Gault!

and Shows that we don’t Rate Gault at all then. IF we are not playing him.

Seedsman gives us run.

I say Seeds would be sub then.

Broomhead be good

De Goey is very Stiff I reckon.

Though Maybe a full VFL game is better for him then being sub again

Jacobs and Jenkins is half a ruckman less than Martin and Leuenberger. Jacobs may be better than any of those but Martin/Leu are both full-time rucks whereas Jenkins isn't.

Still, I don't expect it to be all that pretty.

> Rookie doesn't get a game round 2
> Must mean we don't rate him

Strange selection, we've lost 2 hard ball winners in De Goey and Seedsman and bought in two outside players in Broomhead and Seeds.

I'll back them in though after the changes had effect last week.

Score 1 to Scodog10. Right on the button...
