I don't see why some are concerned about JDG being dropped and what it will do for his confidence. I doubt he is that stupid not to understand his situation and the realities of it. He had to play a full game this week. Being the sub again not an option. So he is going back to the VFL to get that full game. Nothing wrong with that.
Careful, being all logical and stuff.

Happy with the inclusions, Broomy's size doesn't effect how hard he goes in.
And Seedo seems to have built up in the off season, will be looking forward to him off half back/wing for some drive into F50 he has good delivery and should be good for Trav and White.

Overall two good youngsters who use it well coming in is good.

Who gets Danger and Sloane?

Crisp and Adams :-)

I'm happy with the changes as long as Seedsman's fitness is good enough and I'm assuming the club thinks it is.

Gault still a chance as a late in I reckon.

If not, Oxley is at very short odds to be sub.

Crisp and Adams :)
Big job for Crisp on Danger he did look quick at times last week and had good physicality, think Adams will beat Sloane good match up.

Could try Seedsman on Danger too as he has the size and speed to match him, maybe will take two on Dangerfield one in close and someone up field when he gets loose.

Welcome to Collingwood - The team of midfield short people and 9 Half Bank Flankers.
Swan, Pendlebury, Crisp, Adams, Broomhead, Blair, Varcoe, Seedsman (assuming he plays on a wing). The only sub 180cm player there is Blair, and he isn't even a full time mid.

So where are all the midfield short people?

Would have liked to see JDG left in and Ramsey out.
Otherwise, niiiceeee!!

I would like to see Gault come in for Ramsey as a late change. But I thought there was going to be a late change last week which didn't happen. So I don't think it will happen this week.

De Goey didn't deserve a game based on the preseason form despite some people raving about a couple of nice things he did it so it's not surprising to see him dropped. Seeds is an obvious inclusion. Broomy staked his claim in the VFL after being given a kick up the bum, hopefully PK follows suit in the next week or two.
Can't really see us winning this but hoping for a good showing nevertheless.

I think it's good ins, swanny was still finding his feet last week and I reckon he could split this game open for us.. Everyone seems to have forgotten about Swanny, he's fully fit!

Good ins. Shame there was no spot for De Goey but this is a crucial game for us early in the season and the loss of Sidebottom on top of Thomas and Greenwood means theres less room for trainees. A win here against the best side of round 1 will really set us up for the next month or two.

Any thoughts on late changes? Interesting group of emergencies.

Good side considering who is injured.

Really think we are a genuine chance at winning this.

Line up:

B - Toovey Brown Sinclair
HB - Williams Frost Langdon
C - Crisp Pendlebury Varcoe
HF - Goldsack Cloke Elliott
F - Fasolo White Blair
R - Grundy Adams Swan
INT - Ramsay Seedsman Broomhead Oxley

Happy with ins, pray no injuries in both teams.....imagine ins if so in about three weeks

Young kid but De Goey didn't impress me one bit in his 30 minutes last week, no problems with him heading back to the magoos to build confidence and begin to acclimatise to playing against the bigger bodies - his time will come.

Broomhead, yes. Happy with that after a good VFL performance.

Seedsman, not so sure. D-Day (year) for him IMO, does some super things, and then some just outright horrendous things. Needs to remove the latter from his game, if so, he could be a superb back-flanker.
