I'd rather lose by 20 goals than reward Tarrant and Johnson by giving them a game when they've let their mates down. Besides I harldy think we'll notice Tarrant missing, the way he's performed this season. Him missing will give T Cloke a better opportunity.

What we do know as fact is that they were there in the first place. That in itself is enough justification for a one weke suspension. If and when a court proves they broke any laws, then heavier punishment can be handed out then. Both have form for inappropriate off field behaviour and both are supposed to be senior players, so a slap over the wrists is not enough.

Be well aware, its them who have let us down, not the other way around.

Well, it is something that will show the players that the club is bigger than them, and that their actions affect the rest of the playing group. It would potentially teach them some responsablility.

And yes, with Tarrant's "form" of late, dropping him won't be the end of the world.

So how would you describe his 18 possesion 12 marks and 4 goals against the Eagles 2 weeks ago???????

He kicked 1.5 last Friday night, had he kicked 4.2 or 5.1 would his form still be in question??????

Macca, I was referring to his kicking for goal only. I've been a Tarrant supporter (but not one that thinks he's a 'superstar' and is unfairly treated), so I should have quantified my statement re: his form. His last two weeks (kicking aside) have been much better. So no, you're not watching a different game to me!

He always kicks like that. His kicking in the 2002 GF cost us a flag. If he spent more time out on the park after training than he did at nightclubs, he might be able to kick straighter.

I don't think any training situation can simulate the pressure in an AFL game, it's all in the head for Chris, since his kicking is generally good and is one of our best kicks in terms of hitting a leading target in the team.
