I'd also want to drop Hale because I think with him in, we're just a bit too tall, but I know it won't happen...

We need a back-up ruckmen.. i hate seeing Petrie in the ruck or anyone else that isnt a natural ruckmen thrown in

We cant just play McIntosh in the ruck all game, we need to give him a rest so he can give 100% when he is on, we need either Moran or Hale as a relief

Selection committee has got rocks in their head if they drop Campbell.

He's a small forward, they have the odd quite game.

He done more then enough this year to keep his spot.

Haley did kick the goal that stopped the rising tide did he not? But i see your point, I think Hale looked out of sorts most the night. Amazing how much Hamish has come on.

Just watched the game for a third time (on the back of watching Sydney and Geelong games).

Would like Hale to get at least 1 more game. Though I'd want him to perform or he's out. Watt should be gone and I'd be disappointed if he wasn't at least considered for omission and replaced with someone more deserved of the spot in the team.

By far the worst out there for our team was Rawlings. I counted 1 of his disposals in the first half going to our advantage. All the others put teammates massively under the pump. I know there were at least 3 holding-the-balls in that match, and all 3 were a direct result of Rawlings' handballs. I wish it was just the fact that he has crap disposal, but he's just an incredibly dumb footballer. Watt-dumb. Which makes me laugh when people bag our captain. He may have poor disposal, but at least he's smart with the ball. Rawlings is not. Would like to think his position in the team is not just handed to him, but there is no doubting, bar injury, he'll be in the side every game this year. Though I certainly want him playing at least 1 more game (WC;) ). Makes it laughable that he was probably in our bests according to the papers because he had 35 possessions. Would love them to start showing a stat for effective possessions.

So Watt and Rawlings are our weakest links ATM. Which means it would be a crying shame if we used Wells' spot on a guy like Sansbury or Green. Though I can certainly see it happening.

Out: Wells, Watt
In: Thomas/Whyman, Adams/McConnell (we need a high possession getter)

^ KOTK - which tall backman replaces him?

Funny you say that. The word 'Padlock' comes to mind. Would be interesting to see him slot in there now that Firrito and Gibson are holding their own. More impressive back there too than forward. Would have thought it made sense to move him back given that Hale is back from injury...

Rawlings had 80% efficiency, but that is probably just disposal that hit a target - I agree that he put players under pressure with a lot of disposal and wasn't damaging, but he wasn't horrible.

He is not a dumb footballer and he has been good in the last three weeks and is very important - he shoul take Murphy and give him a lesson. I read an article where he said because Hird played a fair bit back he didn't have a match-up so was left to run free...I just hope we remember what he is best at.

I also think we could drop Watt, send Petrie back to play on Whitnall (who he will rape and give us rebound) and play Spud on Fevola and Gibson on Kennedy. That is it for their tall forwards. Hale and Brown play as our tall forwards and bring in Thomas as another crumber and midfield option.

IN: Adams, Thomas
OUT: Wells, Watt.

Might need to pull out the game for a fourth time. Simpson was embarrassing in the first half. If he had even a touch more poise he might actually have found targets inside 50. If it wasn't for Harris and Smith in the first quarter, we might not have kicked a goal!

Where's RB and BW? Aren't you going to start bagging rooboy for naming Ross in his ins?

His playing good footy now!!

Im going by reports GR :D so not completely in ur corner.

Jus like the idea of injecting some pace in 2 da lineup 2 replace wellsys.

You haven't noticed that about many of his possessions (talking generally. Not this game) are contested? Some of which nobody else in our team could pull off? Easily the smartest footballer in our team. Possessions when he's in the clear are laughable, but put him under heavy pressure and he'll get a quick kick out to a loose player that the rest of the team can only dream of doing.
