The teams that continually win are the ones who have consistency, they may every now and then have a number of changes for injuries but in general they have 0-2 changes. The mantra is not so much "5 changes is too much" as "5 changes at once can be too much".
Freo won a final in Geelong after making 10 changes.

That wasn't a change from their usual team. After playing round 22 they knew where they would play their first final and the round 23 result wouldn't affect it so multiple first team players were given the week off.

Andrew Moore will today become the 35th player we have used this year. Whether by form or injury, that is just far too many.

Carlton are currently on 36 players for the year and will easily hit 40.

35 players used for Port is way too many in half a year of football............and the results showcase just that.

Yep it is far too many. It's also damning that Moore is our 35th player played when he's clearly better than number 35 on our list.

I hate being that guy and dropping huge list of players but....

Assuming no one comes back from injury

Out: Gray, White, Stewart, Young
In: Mitchell/Moore(at this time I am undecided if Moore can play the required role), Amon, Harvey, Ah Chee

If Trengove ready, he comes in for Clurey. If Ryder ready, he comes in for Stewart (Harvey out).
Another calling for a Mitchell in, doesn't know football obviously.

I'm now on suicide watch.

At least we can't lose next weekend.

Doesn't matter thanks to our form they already started rolling out Nick Gill's career highlight of making the Port vs the bye clip, expect it to be posted repeatedly ad nauseum by media & opposition supporters.

Can't wait for the Ashes, footy season can ead.
