Cats next week hey ! This is going to be ugly.

I think the senior players need to be held accountable for the last 3 weeks so I suggest that Newman , Deledio , Jackson and Reiwoldt need to be held accountable. Newman being Captain can keep his place but the rest should be sent back to Coburg.

It would be ideal to play Deledio in the forward line to cover for Jack because he is obviously injured but personally I think Deledio is more worried about how he looks with his new head band rather than putting his head over the ball.

We'll get smacked anyway, so forget playing people in 'new' positions to 'learn' and just bring in some kids who will put their head over the ball and play some hungry, ferocious footy. Don't care if they all get knocked out, development can never be an excuse for attack on the footy and your desire. No more soft bs please.

I have heard that Goo won't get another game for us after cracking 3 of Jack's ribs in a non-contact training session six weeks ago. Apparently he was responsible for jarring Jack's knee in the preseason. Anyone else heard this or is it old news?

I'd love to say goodbye to Thursfield and/or McGuane this week for Post/Gourdis. We're really starting to miss Astbury/Grimes/Moore, our defence looks a hell of a lot better when choosing from Rance, Astbury, Grimes and Moore as the key backs.

Geelong will give us a belting whoever we play. There are a few guys we really need to make a decision on and that decision needs to be made based on AFL level.

IN:
Gourdis- last chance, show something young fella
Morton- You have the talent, show you have the desire
Nason- impressive first year, but have gone backwards. Late pick and was drafted older than the others, he might not get another year.

OUT:
Thursfield- VFL standard. Offers no rebound and his negating game isn't what it once was.
White- I don't think he'l ever be more than a mediocre player. Morton can replace him, atleast Morton offers more upside.
Edwards- promising last year, but dissapointing now. Trade bait if he has any currency.
