Wakelin for Rhyce Shaw would be one change for team balance, and please dont play Cameron Cloke again. He is so damn soft!

Be nice if Rusling was right to go... but hes not so get C3 back in. Stretch the Dogs height in their backline

Go only Fraser as ruck again, way too mobile for Peter Street

how is c2 soft?

Mitch Hahn is out so there goes the chance of them being able to rest one of there gun midfielders and bring him on in the last quarter(ie. Kerr vs west coast) to destroy us.

If we were not playing the dogs id say no change, but we should drop either presti or wakes (who never needs a break) because of lack of match ups.

Id also like to see rhyce played at willi again this week i dont want to risk him just yet.

So

Maybe soft is a bit harsh, but I have noticed his inability to stand up in 1-on-1 contests. There are a few that just stick in the forefront of my mind, and no positive ones that I can think of

If someone could point me in the direction of an AFL game he has played where he was actually an asset to the side, I would appreciate a DVD of it!

Cheers

Last years game v Geelong

BTW what do you expect from 20 year old ruckman who has missed 2 half seasons with shoulder injuries and just getting back to fitness and confidence?

Well after watching Willy play casey on Sunday.....Jason Cloke should be in the team. I have been a critic of jason over the last couple of years, but his performance on sunday was amazing. Also Travis Cloke was very good. Rhyce Shaw I think was beaten by that number 29 from casey, i actually sat next to mick on sunday down at casey and I sed to him that its good to see rhyce back playing, and micks reply was "he should be in by the brisbane game", which is after the this week.

So my changes are:

Jason Cloke In

Nick Maxwell OUT

But really should there be a change after u win by 102 points

jason cloke always dominates at VFL level.....but then steps up to AFL level and gets played in positions where he is no chance

he aint a ruckmen, he aint a key forward, he aint a key backman.........he is a spare parts defender who can do well on a third tall, or be a good loose man as he reads the play well

but the doggies dont have 2 tall forwards, let alone 3!!

save him for Hamill against st.kilda!!

How many times does J.Cloke need to be embarrassed in the seniors for people to realise he is a good VFL player but just not up to AFL standard - see Ben Beams, James Podsiadly, Andrew Williams etc etc. He has been absolutely smashed on a wing in his 2 attempts there and the very last thing we need against the dogs is another tall defender. Save him for when we play the Saints cos Hamill is the only player he has beaten since 2003.

Their forward line usually lines up with Johnson, Murphy, Robbins and Hahn (out injured) down there. Grant will be forced back with Hargrave and Harris.
Id say Jimmy for Johnson, Maxxy for Murphy and probably go with Heath for Robbins as he is a bit quick for Lockyer. Gees we are going to miss Harry this week. Lonie might have to be forced back (unfortunately) to cover any other smalls they throw forward.

In: Yakka
Out: Presti (rested)

Edit: Doppleanger post at same time - couldnt agree more mate.

I would keep wakelin for grant!

I think Grant will be forced to play in the backline, possibly on Rocca. Although, I think that Harris will get him. They will probably play a quicker, smaller player on Tarrant. Grant may get Fraser, C.Cloke when they go forward.

Personally, I'd rest Wakelin or Presti simply because there is no match-up. Clement and Maxwell can play small and are pretty quick. It would've been handy to have Harry. Bring Rowe in. I really rate him.
