Looks like a suss GWS supporter started trolling the game day thread on their board. Was it one of you by any chance?

Normally when we have to fly interstate with a six day break I would be putting my house on the opposition.
This week to me there seems to be a few things going in our favour.
1. Our confidence levels are up.
2. Essendon have the drugs saga raising it's ugly head again.
3. Injuries to Fletcher and possibly Carlisle, leaving them a bit short.
4. The return to form of our entire midfield, every single midfielder is playing well.
5. Collingwood were pathetic after half time, our boys will be nowhere near as sore as they normally would be.
6. Light week on the track
I think we are a good chance and I'd be willing to put someone else's house on it!

If anyone wants to write my exegesis for me I am more than happy to ride down to Tullamarine tomorrow and have a look
If we win tomorrow I will be certain to drink to excesgesis.

8. Watson has missed a lot of footy (but also his return could provide them with the spark they need)
My biggest concern is Essendon starting the game off well - they usually get to a fast start against us in Melbourne and kick a lot of goals in succession.
We really need to be on from the start and aim to kick the first goal to settle the nerves and kill the crowd advantage. Hopefully there is a big Eagles supporter base at the game - we need to be vocal!

It's just so enjoyable watching the boys have a real crack and look as if they are genuinely enjoying themselves out there, hopefully they can get up. Watson could well be a bit underdone, we'll see. I bloody excited already and it's only Thursday, better get on with some work I suppose.

Mate we can win our last 3 and still finish 9th.Way more nervous than excited for me!! I just wish it was over already, and we won, and we are all happy and thinking about making the 8. More than having a crack, I think they have finally ditched the Woosha game plan and come around to Simpsons style. Last two weeks our style has been unrecognizable.
Na our percentage is too good to win all 3 and not make it, unless of course the pies win all 3, and the crows win all 3, then we screwed, can't see that happening given both of their form of late.

Wishful thinking son. But this is Jab we're talking about here. He doesn't exactly have normal muscle tissue regeneration
I still don't have much confidence in Hutchings as a tagger. Will be interesting to see who he goes to. Personally i say, stuff Jab, tag Goddard.
10 bucks says we play russian roulette with Matt yet again and him and Jab give each other acres of space.

Hird and Little kiss and make up after essendon have another week in court disrupting their season in an important game week against potential top 8 rivals in West coast.
Essendon also implementing a new scarf waving campaign this week to help ignite a little bit of rivalry back into the contest.
Why oh why is there always something up with Essendon when we play them.
Here's hoping the not switched on Don's turn up.

Who cares really? If we want to win because we want to play finals then we need to be able to beat middle of the road sides at the top of their games, rather than hoping for best case scenarios. If they're too good for us, they're too good for us.
Will our players get in trouble if they yell out "infraction" every time they think there's a free kick?

Heppell is their most dangerous player for mine. Need to shut him down.
I think it's safe to expect Hurn won't be getting anywhere near as much space as Collingwood gave him in the first quarter last week.
