It's annoying if Lids gets rubbed out for the dogs game because he always lights them up but I heard he's been a bit sore and underdone....so maybe....it could be a blessing in disguise. A forced resting...so if we can be professional versus the dogs, lions and dees and win as we should. It might help us when we get into a tougher period in the weeks that follow.

We'd be best served to play Lennon and Madonna over Knights especially in the next 3 rounds as Knights is just as cooked as Newman unfortunately . Why don't we just make them co captains of our VFL side and help develop Ellis , Menadue and Butler.

I would assume rance and chap will stay but unless batch gets a run through the wing I can't see astbury coming in for Newman.

Wouldn't expect any changes for r2 after a first up win unless the change is forced. Thus if Lids cops his weeks as the media tribunal have already offered I see his spot the only change for McDonough.

Would like to see Lambert get his chance in the middle and release Martin fwd but not going to happen at this stage.

Astbury unfortunately waits until his spot is available as Batch and Grimes did their jobs on Thursday night.

Lids will go and by the sounds of the vfl report, petterd, knights, lambert and Mc Donough all had good games. I'd like to see knights get a game, as thought he looked sharp in his nab cup.
Good scenario having all those guys lining up to play.
Think Grimes may have dropped his chance, as sounds as if Astbury is right to go.
Newman won't get dropped this week, as they wouldn't have had high expectations on his first hit out.

Said it on another thread but Stringer looks like the only tall who can win them the game, the others are all other young or underdone. He kicked 3.3 and could have had more. I'd put Rance on him to make sure he's quiet.
