Yeah good call. Lets play a bloke who has been out of the game for 2 years and only played 4 vfl games.

How many VFL games do you want him to play before he comes into the side? He has been in the bests for either two or three of those games. We want him in our first 22, let him have a taste of AFL against the Suns. If he isn't fit enough, give him the vest and allow him a spell through the wing or off the half back. I think it is time to bring him in.

However, I don't think that Dea's form isn't as bad as some suggest. Yes, he occasionally makes mistakes but what do you expect of someone who hasn't even played 20 games of senior football. There is much to like about Dea, he is athletic, he is courageous and he has good awareness. Doesn't that sound familiar? Cough, Cough, Rance. Give him time, I personally see a lot of Newman in him.

He's been out for 2 years. 4 games, 2 of them in the 3rds, is clearly not enough and it would be absolutely stupid to rush him back in.

If Griffiths is out then I am bringing back Elton and moving Tommy D down back as they did when we subbed big Griff.

In terms of best Coburg form then Gus deserves a gig but we need to replace White with a small which we don't really have atm so can see Maric keeping his spot.

Tough game. 28 deg, 30% chance of rain. Whoever we pick must be in tip top condition for this. A speedster as sub will be a must.

Spewing if White misses this as he would be a bonus in these conditions.
Bazz, he is gorn. Two for the punch in the guts and two for the Frawley head high.

What is it with our blokes that think they can just punch someone in the guts for no reason and get away with it? For someone who is fighting for their career it is just mind bogglingly stupid. And selfish.

I reckon he will get off on Frawley as it was in the shoulder, Jacks accidental arm to the jaw was what caused his pain. But your right, he will probably get two down to one. Silly boy, identical to round 1 2009.

Well that would not be a 'suspicion', that would be an assumption from that observation. Not good....more rest time one would think. Luckily Dusty is good to go and maybe Conca gets his chance for more midfield time now. Thanks for update.

The limp could be just from the moon boot which isnt the most comfortable footwear. also players will wear moon boots for foot injuries even when they are looking to pay soon because not wearing it slows the recovery dramatically.

Not saying hes gonna play but i still have a bit of hope

Just watched the Frawley one again, you might be right there. If they argue JRs contact caused the concussion...

Really disappointed for White, he was looking good and these 2 weeks were his chance to impress. Webberley should come in and be the only change. He really deserves a game.

Ok watched the White bump in 1/3 speed. His thigh collects Frawley's head while his hip bumps his shoulder and the arm just sort of misses. So yeh I'd say that's a week or two.
Best screen grab I could get:

Its not that one im so worried about. Its one that Foxtel used to show off and beat up their coverage by showing. No one would have seen it otherwise. It was a punch to an opponents stomach off the ball that is the problem.

Maguire did him in nice.

Didnt like what I saw of Gold Coast today. We should beat them but I hope they are falling into the good game followed by bad game stage of their development right now.

Don't know about that - I was at the ground and white's bump looked like a regulation 2 -3 weeks- given that frawley was badly shaken up it was always going to get looked at

Foley will be ready to play this week, heard on the medivine he's over his bruised heel, just whether they want to give it another week against GC.

I would be amazed if he was picked this week.. I saw him walk into the ground with Martin and he still had a decent limp on him. Couldnt wear the black dress shoes (was wearing blue runners, didnt see any moonboot type devices though!)

White should go for that - but the only positive, is that at the game I thought it was Reiwoldt who got him, and was relieved to see it wasn't!!!

for me dea has to go- handpasses to blokes standing still- turns it over too easily- o hanlon not quite up to it

for me he has some way to go....but i like what i see so far....at the moment with all our outs he has to play...

to win a flag you need up to 30 players.... when your "best 22"are not out on the field you need able replacements...he might not be best 22 but he will be one of the 30 for sure

o'hanlon needs time....but he has all the tools...play him against gc and then back to the twos...if we are out of final 8 cont at the end of the year give him another go

Why are they standing still? Rance was doing this a couple of years ago and most thought he was shite when in actual fact it was he who was playing well and his team mates who were in the wrong. We've lost our run and carry over the last few weeks.

Cannot fathom the criticism of Dea. He'd be close to one of our most improved players this year.

If Foley is right to go, play him. % is very important this year.

If he's not right don't play him.

Yeah I also don't understand the criticism of Dea. I have only watched the first 3 qtrs on replay since going to the game to review what was a poor display but he stopped several of Melbourne's attacks keeping the ball locked in our fwd half. Added to that his ball handling is very very good and he knows its the kicking and handballing that he needs to work on. Playing better than Batch atm.

O'Hanlon started the game poorly, however when he was moved closer to goal in the last I thought he really stepped up his performance he had 1 shot on goal and also outmarked Watts which looked like a fair nudge to me. He will also remain considering our current predicament.

Dont think that will happen, moore will be next cab off the rank...this is a must win game, we cant chance our strengths stocking up on rOokies

Doc Larkin hinted he might be out for the year and was worried it might be career threatening injury. Said it was a flair up of the old injury.
