Hille is back from suspension remember, so obviously someone is going to have to make way.

Glad this one is at the Dome - one of, if not the only ground where we can get away with having so much tall timber in the team.

Pretty important VFL game for some players today - Bendigo SHOULD get the points in Tasmania but there's a few spots open for next week that's probably more important than the game itself.

Hows Bachar Houli going at the moment? Any chance of getting near the seniors lineup.

In: Hille
Out: Bolton

Dont really want to touch this one til after match review but id think Stants would be out (if he didnt play this week he couldve played v Cats.) with Campo maybe..But it all depends on the Welsh verdict and if anything comes of the so called melee..Obviously Hille in. But i reckon Bolts will be retained to play on Mooney...

In: Hille, Hislop/Houli, Monfries/NLM/Cole
Out : Bolton, Stanton(inj), MJ/Campo

If Stanton doesn't get up then I think Campo should stay in to provide some poise in the midfield.

Bolton a definite out. MJ doesn't have a match up and I think we have others that could do his job.

The cats have Varcoe and Stokes as small pacy forwards. Not sure if MJ can handle them anymore. Interesting times at the selection table these days.

Hopefully we add some run somehow as losing Stanton leaves a huge hole.

In: Hille, Hislop, Monfries
Out: Campo, Bolton, Welsh (susp.)

Although i do think Welsh may have no case to answer as his eyes were on the ball the whole time and contact to the head was incidental to the contest.

Hislop will have to wait for his debut if Welsh doesn't go.

Why don't we give Cole a shot in the back pocket instead of MJ, surely he'd be better than MJ. Thoughts?
No way! Cole is hopeless. Will only give us more concerns especially with his disposal it is shocking.

MJ was great against Robbo in the first half. Robbo only got on a run in the third quarter. There will be a match up for MJ somewhere. If not down back i could even see him playing in the forward line to put more pressure on them running it out.

Cant really look too much into the VFL game on the weekend. I know they may have played well and won by a huge margin but they were playing against tassie who are last on the ladder and by far the worst team in the VFL. My under 14's team could have beaten them.

In: Hille Out: Bolton/Campo.

The player that sparks geelong in there forward line at the moment is steve johnson. Who takes him? Ryder? McPhee? MJ? I mentioned MJ because he is similar to Robbo.

Key Matchups:

McPhee: Mooney
Michael: Ablett
McVeigh: Ablett
Fletcher: Ottens (when going forward)
Slattery: Bartel ?
Peverill: Chapman/Corey

what do we do with paddy this week? i'm, not saying he should be dropped but there is no real matchup for him as ottens hardly spends anytime in the forward line these days

We could put him on N.Ablett and keep Fletch free
