He deserves his chance as much as anyone, and hasn’t put a foot wrong in his two games. I just don’t see where the hate is coming from?

Keeping Broadbent in at the expense of Garner does seem as though they've gone with the safe option. I watched the game on replay as I couldn't get there and the composure and decision making and execution of Garner suggested this is a guy who knows the defender's game. The timing in that play to leave his defender and impact the contest isn't something you just learn. Keeping him in would have been the riskier option but on face value of what
I observed I would have picked him.
